The sins of the flag

My grandfather, Edward Panzer was a German Wehrmacht solider during the Stalingrad invasion. He told me all about it, and I've been keeping the horrors that he told me in a journal for years. I wrote this story in honor of him and his bravery. Please note that the characters are speaking German with English translation, and that all of the characters are anthropomorphic.
