Chapter 19 ~ Confession

 

Days have been past, lalo akong naging malapit kay Jeron. Sometimes when we have a free time we always have get together with his and my friends. I always support his game, syempre sa growling tigers din. Yung ultimate fan girl ni Jeron noon ay isang malapit na kaibigan niya na ngayon, can you believe it? Bonus pa ang maging kaibigan si Jeric. Hindi  na ako nagtanong sa mga narinig ko sa kanila ni Jade, malalaman ko din kasi iyon. Sa tamang oras.

“Hmm.” Ungol ni Alex. Dahan dahan ko naman binaba ang gamit ko sa kama and binuksan ang lamp shade. Madaling araw na pala, as usual galing sa work and napaovertime ako ng 2 hours.

“Ma-dds ?” tamad na sabi niya halatang pagod sa pagrereview ito kasi nagkalat sa sahig ang mga handouts namin. Exam week kasi namin.

“Oh? Did I wake you up?” I asked, she just shook her head.

“No. I’m just checking if it’s you. Baka kasi maya-maya sino na.” she said while her eyes are still close.

“Ok. Go back to dreamland. I’ll take a half shower before I sleep.” She just gave me an ok sign and faced the other wall. I grabbed a loose shirt and started to walk to the bathroom.

I took a fast body wash and turn off the lamp shade light, long night sleep for me. But before I close my eyes my phone vibrate, until now his message still make my heart beats fast and make me flush. Kelan kaya ako masasanay?

I know you’re still up. You’re still having a hard time to sleep because of thinking me, right? :D You do the same to me, Madds. I can’t sleep because you keep running into my mind even … in my heart also. :))

FYI! I just arrived home from work that’s why I’m still up and I was about to fall asleep when you texted me. Hindi kita iniisip ‘no?! Asa ka naman haha! And please stop thinking of me, just go sleep mamaya maapektuhan training mo bukas.

 

 

Shit! Bakit pa ako nagreply? Nung nasend ko lang naisip na pwede naman pala ignore na lang yung text. Gosh! Mamaya ano pa isipin nun. Madaling araw pa naman na. Hindi ko na lang aantayin ang reply niya. Humiga na ako sa kama at pinikit ang mga mata, nakalimutan ko na yung feeling na mahiga dito sa kama ko after the busy schedule I have.

Kung pumayag na kaya akong bumalik sa bahay, bakit ko kasi pinapahirapan ang sarili ko? Kaya naman ako suportahan ng magulang ko ang mga needs ko but on the other side hindi naman maganda ang umasa na lang sa kanila kahit na ang kapatid ko medyo ganun. Hay! Ano ba ‘tong naiisip ko. Kaya naman eh. Bigla naman umilaw ang phone ko.

Actually, I’m already preparing to go on school for our training. Ikaw na ang matulog para makapagpahinga ka na. Good night, Madds. Dream of me, okay?

 

Napatingin naman ko sa orasan. Wth! It’s just three in the morning, patayan ba yang training nila. Kawawa naman si Jeron pero alam ko naman na ginagawa nila un because they wanted to be part of final four which is the growling tigers is already in. “Dream of me, okay?” Ano un? Napakapilyo talaga. Hindi ko maiwasang kiligin, napahagikhik naman ako ng unti.
