If I’m not mistaken I saw Jeron in the Department store a while ago when I bought a pair of knee pad for Jeric. I look around and search him but he suddenly disappeared. I erased the idea that maybe he’s spying me kasi kanina tinanong niya kung nasaan ako via text and I told him I’m with my friends. I have to lie I know he’ll be jealous if I said I’m with Jeric, ayoko lang siya mag-isip ng ano.

“Andito na tayo Hija.”

“Ah. Thank you po, Manong. Ito po ang bayad.”

I hurriedly went out the cab, Alex sent a message that Mr. Doctolero wanted to talk me about my ancestral design that I passed last term. It was one of my master pieces since when I was a kid I had already the idea of making it, it’s a special project that he gave me. Kaya nagmamadali akong naglalakad para maabutan ko sa Architect faculty si Prof.

“Oh my, gosh!”

“Naku po, sorry, Miss!”

I accidentally bump a student when I was checking my watch, hindi ko napansin na may mababangga na pala ako. I kneel down to the ground as I get some papers that been scattered.

“I’m really sorry. I was in hurry baka hindi---“ my eyes grew wider while I handed the papers to her. Ang tagal ko ding hindi siya nakita.

“Hi Maddison.” She said and gave me a smile, I smiled back.

“Althea! Long time no see. Kamusta ka?” I startled told her.

It’s been a while since I saw Althea dito sa school after nung pageant and parang iwas naman siya when I tried to have a chit-chat with her katulad lang ngaun. I was sorry for what happened na dapat siya ang magccompete pero naging ako.

“I’m okay. Kayo ni Jeron kamusta?” Napangiwi naman ako sa tanong niya instead of answering I gave her a questioned look.

“Sorry, I thought you were together. It’s just I saw both of you last party in Tagaytay.” She said in apologetic tone. Is she referring yung party ng magulang ni Lance?

“Andun ka sa party? Kilala mo sila Tita Dulce?” I asked and she nodded.

What a small world. Kilala niya din ang mga Chua, dahil feeling ko hindi ko naman maabutan si Mr. Doctolero aayain ko na lang si Althea lumabas, gabi na din.

“Let’s have dinner, my treat. Gusto lang kita makausap ng matagalan if okay lang sayo?” I saw how she hesitantly nods.

We went to Todd English Food Hall, it was a long drive from our school but it’s worth it, the foods are really good. We are now on our dessert, the waiter served the chocolate cake namely “OMG”.

“Hmm. Ang sarap ah!” I said as I spooned little from the plate. Tumango-tango naman si Althea, she was just staring at me. Baka iniisip niya na matakaw ako.
