You get into a fight and he scared you
You and Elijah were currently arguing because you were apparently getting too close with his brother Kol. Which you were not, you guys were just hanging out together.
"Why would you do this Y/N?"
"I DID NOT DO ANYTHING. I am tired of telling you this."
"Well it's little hard to believe after I find you in his room sitting on the bed."
"First of all, we were just talking and even if I was doing anything, do you think I would be stupid enough to do it when you are home? I just don't see why it's so hard to understand this."
"Whatever I don't have time for this."
"Seriously you accuse me of being with your brother and then you say you don't have time for this?"
"Listen, I have too much going on right now."
"Just talk to me."
"I don't want to right now."
"Why because you know I am right?"
After you said that, veins showed under his eyes and you were terrified. You have never seen him this angry. He raised his hand to scratch his face but he thought he was about to slap you. You quickly put your hands in front of your face for defense and crouched down. He realized what you were doing and regret was all over his face.
"You thought I was going to hurt you."
You didn't answer and just looked at him, not wanting to say yes.
"I am so sorry. I don't know what has gotten into me. I do believe you and i don't know why I said that. I know you aren't with Kol. I am so so sorry. Please forgive me." He started to show tears in his eyes and you felt sad. You did cave in though.
"It's ok, I forgive you, but if you do, do that again, I will not forgive you again."
"I know and I won't."
He came closer and kissed your forehead and hugged you. You knew he wouldn't do it again and you felt safe in his arms.
