RWBY: This is War

Lost

If everything you knew was gone, people you loved hurt, your home gone what would you do. If you were on your knees staring at death would you still fight back or run in fear. If the ones you loved died how would you handle it. If all this happened in the matter of hours would you still be able to smile after.

3rd person:

It all happened so quick.

The attack, all the Grimm, the White Fang, killing everyone and destroying everything.

Blake was held by her throat by Adam Taurus who then throws her into a pillar making it crumble. Standing over her laughing as he stabbed her in the stomach.

"You think you can leave us!? You think you can get away!? Look where that got you!? You've destroyed everything I loved!... So I will return the favor..."

"Blake!!??" A voice in the distance cries out in fear.

Yang stands at a broke window in horror as she watches a mad man attempt to gut her partner, her best friend, her everything.

"GET AWAY FROM HER YOU ASSHOLE!!!" She screams as she runs at him thowing her arms out in fury putting all her rage and pain into each and every strike.

But she gained nothing.

Adam soon had her thrown back against a wall making her yell out in a mix of anger, sadness and pain.

As a final resort she lunged at him, but that was a grave mistake.

"Yang no!"

With a quick swipe Adam's blade cuts through Yang's aura along with her arm. From the instant pain and damage to her aura she passes out.

Adam stands over her ready to finish the job only to be interrupted by Blake who throws herself onto Yang to protect her.

"Pathetic." He whips his blade through the air cutting Blake in two which caused an explosion.

He hadn't noticed she had made an explosive double of her self. And in that moment Blake took Yang's unconscious body and feld.

All while this was happening Ruby was going through some other things.

Standing atop the last burning airship of Ironwood's fleet she was face to face with Roman Torchwick.

"You think your a hero little Red!? You think you can be like all those heros in the story huh?" Roman slaps the girl in the head with his cane knocking her to the ground.

"Well this is the real world!" He strikes her again on her side.

"Fairy tales don't come true!" He once again hits her on the head making her fall and causing a stream of blood run down her head.

"And if you want to be anything close to what those heros where then die like they all did!" He stomps his foot into her stomach making her gasp for air.

"Die! Just like your ignorant mother di-" He was stopped before he could finish his sentence.

A white figure stands behind him as the hilt of a large snow white weapon sticks out of his torso.

Quickly pulling back the white figure kicks the man's lifeless body over the side which is snatched up and ripped to shreads by Griffons before it hits the ground.

Through as the haze Ruby looks up at the white figure that now stands above her. It places it's hand on her head sending a glowing pulse through her healing her and her aura.

Before anything else could be exchanged the figure whips away in the wind. Only to leave white petals in it's wake.

Ruby stands there in awe only to be broken from it by the sounds of screams. Not a moment later is she on her way to the ground to do all she can.

As Ruby lands on the ground she runs from place to place as fast as she can to find her friends. After a few minutes she finally finds them all in the court yard.

She stops as she sees Yang laying on the ground unconscious. Her head snaps to Blake who is sitting next to her. Something breaks inside the girl making her loose control.

She tackels Blake on to her back and yells in a voice never heard by anyone from the young girl. Her eyes glow a bright yet dangerous silver.

"What happened to her! What did you do to my sister! I swear to God I will kill you if this is your fault!" She yells out getting everyone's attention.

"No it wasn't my- I didn't mean for it to!" Blake shouts out in fear not knowing this side to her teammate.

"Ruby!" Weiss runs over to pull her lover off of the girl, it takes her, Sun and Neptune to pull her off.

"Ruby please calm down please." She says holding the girl tight and crying.

After a few moments Ruby calms down and soon tears leave her eyes as well. The two sit there, for a moment it's only them. Listening only to the sound of each other's breathing.

Weiss gets a call on her scroll which breaks the silence between them.

"Hello?"

"Weiss *zzziiiipp* have to*zzziiiipp* Phyrra! *zzziiiipp* tower! *zzziiiipp* please!" And like that the phone call ends.

"Ruby, we have to help Phyrra. Come on."
