Maya's POV

"Remind me again why we are here again?" I ask confused getting off the plane with the others.

"We need to figure this love triangle thing out." Corey says as we walk to where Huckleberry used to live.

Thinking of his name makes me feel even more depressed.

"Ugh! Fine." I groan as we get to Lucas's house.

"Make yourself at home." His dad says.

"Thanks." I say.

"When did she start using manners?" Riley whispers in Farkle's ear but I could still hear it.

"Get some nice and warm clothes, we are gonna see if little Lucas can still ride a bull." Lucas's father says.

"But he could get hurt." I say worried about Lucas.

"I don't care." His father tells giving me dirty looks.

"Fine." I say grabbing my bag and going to a bathroom, shutting the door and changing quickly into a pair of ripped jeans, a sweater and put my hair into two separate pony tails.

I quickly slip on some cow girl boots, that I brought with.

I walk out of the bathroom, walking to my room setting my bag on my bed, and leaving the room, to see everyone waiting by the truck.

"Did I really take that long?" I chuckle as we get into the pickup truck.

When we get there I get more worried and more worried. The closer we got there I got more nervous.

When we stopped everyone gets out, as hear the speaker,
"Lucas Friar, back for the undefeated bull...."

"Lucas. Don't do this." I say pleading to him.

"I'm sorry Maya. I have to do this." He replies giving me a sympathetic smile.

"No. You don't have to. Your choosing to. If you do this I'll never talk to you ever again."  I plead and he says nothing.

"Fine." I say grumpily and walk away clearly pissed off.

I find a bench, and sit down as all these emotions flood through my head.

I don't want him to get hurt... I don't want to see him get hurt. Why am I acting like this? Don't I like Josh?? Why do I like Lucas? I never did before. I'm so confused-

"Hey, Peaches." I turn to see Riles sitting beside me.

"What going on with you?" She asks looking curious.

"I don't know. Why am I like this?" I ask more to myself then her.

"You still like him don't you?" She asks.

And when I look at her, I see sadness and depression. I can see right through her. She looks sad.

"Yes." I say sighing.

"Honestly he's feels like a brother to me." She says sighing. And I know she's lying. She's taking away her happiness just to make me happy.

"Just because I like him, doesn't mean you have to lie and say that. I'm not gonna take your happiness, Riles." I say sighing.

"I know and I'm not lying."

She's lying I know it.
