Chapter 3
{A}
When I woke up I got out of bed without waking up Ty, not that I cared if I woke him up or not.
I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I got dressed throwing on spandex shorts and a sweat shirt.
I walked in the kitchen to eat a bowl of strawberries and pineapples.
When I was done eating, I grabbed my water and went to the gym.
~At the Gym~
I was running on the treadmill, when I felt someone come behind me. I stopped the treadmill and turned around.
It was no one other then my ex, Darius.
"Can I help you?"
"You look good. I see you getting in shape and you lost a lot of weight. That ass looking right too" he cheesed.
"Yea" I turned around and continued to run.
"I was wondering if I could take you to lunch?" he asked.
I stopped the treadmill again and turned around.
"For what? We have nothing to talk about and I have nothing to say to you"
"Wass up, Mil" I looked up to see Ty looking at me.
"Hey Ty" I said smiling back, he pecked my lips then we walked away from Darius.
"Who that was? He looked angry" Ty joked.
"Oh, that was my retarded ass ex"
"Oh" he scoffed. "You ready for tonight?" he asked.
"Yea, after I take my shower I'm going to the mall with my roomie to find 'something sexy' to wear" I smiled.
"Well good, I can't wait" he mumbled against my lips.
"Me either, where we going?"
"You'll see"
I straight-faced him. "I'm 'bout to go"
"Aight, beautiful" he hugged me and I pecked his lips.
I guess having a man won't be too bad.
When I got home, I took a shower and brushed my teeth again.
~AT THE MALL~
"So, who you gettin' all dolled up for and didn't tell me?" Mariah asked.
"I'm going on this date tonight with this basketball player. His name Kaden Harris, the one I left the club with"
"Oh my gosh, Kaden Harris?!" she asked yelling.
"Yea, be quiet"
"Oh my gosh, that boy is fine!"
"Let Mike hear you talking 'bout him"
"Girl, Mike ain't gon' do nothing we broke up"
"HALLELUJAH, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!"
"I KNOW RIGHT! Now I'm talking to this fine ass boy name Quan, girl this boy just have me flood-"
"I get it, but I'm so happy for you, boo. I need to meet this boy if he got you acting like this. You all happy and shit"
"Thanks, I'm really happy with him, and you will meet him soon"
"Good, come on" I said happily, pulling her into Victoria Secret.
