With three weeks left in their journey, and Divine Hawk, the royal guardian ship, at Redfur's side, they departed once again. A griffon flew above the noble ship, and a pegasus above her own, keeping watch. "Casters," Redfur shouted to her crew, "pull down the sails, unfold the wings, and Engineers, revert engine power to forward thrust,"
The ship kept at a decent speed, 45 knots per hour, "Engineers," The Captain shouted once more, "set the engine speed to low, so we're moving through the night, Star Lily, Sun Prancer, and Cloud Compass, Take 4 hour shifts on the bow," the engineers, a tan earth pony colt with a brown mane and a yellow pegasus mare with a lime green mane disappeared to a room towards the stern, and three navigators nodded and headed the bow, While Redfur went to her own quarters underneath. When she arrived young eyes looked up at the captain, worried, "A-am I going to be alright?"
Redfur smiled softly, having to treat her with kindness, like a mother, "no, little one, you are safe,"
Dusk Twirl sat next to Redfur, eyeing mares and scanning their bodies, while Redfur studied for an upcoming test on the engine's anatomy, "Dusk," said Redfur, still reading and writing, "would you quit your mare chasing. We need to study and be prepared for the exam," Dusk finished examining a unicorn and turned towards Redfur, "well sorry, 'Captain', but maybe you should loosen up and enjoy life a little more,"
"Are you imposing that I am too studious?" she had stopped working and gave the colt a confused look,
"Um," began Dusk, "yeah,"
"Well, you for one need to be more studious,"she nudged a book towards him, it showed a sketched image of a Boulton & Watt engine, with gears, chains, and sprockets all labeled with their purposes written underneath.
Redfur awoke, laying sideways on her bed, to Sun Prancer shouting and knocking through the wooden door, "Captain," the excited voice began, "pirates!"
