Anniversary

Preparing himself for the night, Shawn adjusts his tie to be symmetric with his entire outfit. Everything had to be perfect (he's never been so emotionally invested into someone.

It was now the waiting game for him. Wait until Camila comes and he hopefully not mess up this significant night for the both of them.

With a sudden knock at the door, he felt his hear pop out of chest. Why was he so anxious about a some girl who likes to sing? Maybe it was the overwhelming weight of the fact that she might be the only woman to bring this much joy into his life. She was so much more than just "some girl." She was the woman every man dreamed about and the woman every girl wanted to be.
She was everything.

Livid about the night that awaited, he answered the door to a beautiful young woman standing before him.

"You're looking dapper tonight, aren't you?" She teasingly asked, winking at him as she interlaced their hands.

"Wow..." Shawn whispers to himself, mouth agape. Her petite body perfectly curved around her skin tight dress. Biting his lip, the leave his hotel room.

Slowly chewing the excellent food, Camila can't help but admire every single one of Shawn's features. His infectious smile made the night all the more memorable.

"The food is very amazing, what do you think?" Shawn asked, snapping Camila out of her trance.

"It really is good. Thanks for bringing me here."

The blushing on Camila's face was noticeable from across the room.

"Can I give you my gift right now? I'm extremely excited to show you it." Shawn begged.

"Okay, but I'll give you your gift back at the hotel."

"Oh really?" Shawn winked.

"Not that, you're gross." They chuckled before interlacing their hands. The feeling of their touches fueled the passionate flame inside.

"You are the most important woman in my life. Well, there's my mom...., but tonight's all about you. In fact, every night is, I want to be able make you feel special every night and day. I love you so much, and sometimes the words "I love you" are just enough to express my feelings. I want you to have this," Shawn carefully opens his hand to reveal a glamorous ring for his one and only," this is my grandmother's promise ring that my grandpa gave to her in 1959. Is funny, because they got married a year later. She told me to give this to the woman I love and will love for the rest of my life. Baby, that's you. There's no doubt in my mind that I love you."

Slipping the ring onto her ring finger, Shawn raises her small hand up to lie a small kiss on the finger.

Surprised at his sudden notion, Camila gladly pulls him in for a sweet and savory kiss. The feeling of his lips on hers for what feels like forever made her want him more.

"I promise." She whispered, only wanting him to hear.

Walking inside the dull hotel room, Shawn lead Camila into the lounge area of the room, about 12 feet away from the queen sized bed. He began to move the furniture from the middle of the area to sides to make more room for the two.

"What are you doing?" Camila lightly chuckled at Shawn's curls moving out of place in his hair.

"Camila, do you want to dance?" The couple blushed as they slowly came together. Nodding her head, Camila leads the dance as Shawn accidentally steps on her feet.

"Sorry." He says, a bit of embarrassment rings through his voice.

"It's okay."

"I feels bad, your feet are too precious to just be stepped on."

"It's alright, you don't know how to dance. Here, spin me."

"Spin you?"

"Yes, haven't you ever watched a movie?"

"I'll try."

"Perfect."
