"Has Aunty Maria still not gotten you a phone?"
"No, I'm nearly fourteen, Meg!"
Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm Meg.
My full name is-
Meg.
I don't have a surname. Yet.
Marley says I should call myself Margaret Friers.
But that's so, ew.
I like Meg, anyways.
"Yeah, I know, but hey, at least you can see!" I said, pulling my glasses back to the bridge of my nose.
"Oh, right."
I've had an eyesight problem since I was eight.
I dunno how it happened, just did, I guess.
Glasses are what keep me from going mental.
"However, we have another thing to discuss." Emma said, turning the TV off and turning to cross her legs and look at me.
"What?" I asked, already impatient.
"Well," She said, tapping my head, which was also very soft, as Marley got me really nice shampoo for my medium, bronze curls.
"Mum, got me tickets to go to a fan meeting with one of my favourite band!" She screamed, clapping.
"Really? That's awesome! Is it the Korean ones? The boys you like? What's his name- x, or y I don't remember.."
"V! And you know my bias is Rap Monster."
"Dance Monster?"
"Dude!" She yelled, hitting my arm playfully.
"So, when are you going?" I said.
"In two days. And you're coming with me." My eyes widened.
"Why?" I pouted.
"To prove to you, that they're amazing guys. And it's really expensive and mum already bought them so you have to come." She said in a heartbeat.
"Em!" I yelled.
"Sorry, Meg. But it'll be fun, believe me." She clasped her hands together and made a begging gesture.
"But-," Seeing her damn puppy dog eyes, for God's sake I just said- "Alright, I'll go. Where's the meeting?"
