All of them. All seven.
And the kids? They're sitting on the floor, talking to them.
"Oh, hello, Meg." Jin said, all friendly-like.
I'd learnt all their names, but I dare not say them.
"Who are these boys? Which one of you let them in here?" Marley yelled at the kids.
How, in fact, did they get in here? The kids have had to let them in.
Which one of these idiots was dumb enough to let seven grown men into a poor little orphanage?
"How'd you lot get in here?"
"I'd rather we not answer that question. Please, we won't do you any harm. Is this your guardian?" Rap Monster said, directing Marley.
"Yes, I am. Who are you, may I ask?"
"We are BTS, South Korean band, and we're here to talk to you about Meg." Jin said, sat on the sofa, leaning down with his hands clasped.
He looked like a business man.
"Marley, I really don't want to-"
"Just listen to what they have to say, Meg." Marley said, patting my head.
"Fine." I said, and pouted, sitting on the floor with the kids.
They stayed silent, they knew not to mess with me when I was upset.
Even Aaron, he was the oldest.
He was only a year older than me, though.

Marley sat down on her living chair, as she did when she was telling us stories every night before we went to sleep.
She'd made them all tea, and sat with her own mug in her hand. It said 'best mum ever' on it, I'd gotten it for her birthday with my pocket money I'd been collecting for nearly two months.
I was so happy she'd loved it.
"So, you've been, very hateful of us, I've heard." Jimin said.
"Hateful? That's a strong word." Marley interrupted.
I shrugged.
"And we feel like you've gotten to know us at the wrong end. Please, excuse our behaviour in the past couple of days, and let us start over." said Jin.
"We are Bangtan-"
"That's not necessary. Why are you here?" Suga rolled his eyes.
"Oh, uhm, well," Jin was at a loss for words.
"I'll explain." An old guy said, coming out of the bathroom.
"Who in the world are you?" Marley yelled, outraged.
"I'm their manager. I like your soap." What a dork.
"I'd like to say sorry I am for how these boys were to you two days ago. I'm Sejin." He let out his hand for me to shake.
I shook it awkwardly.
"We are needing to increase these boys' child-friendly and responsible image. We thought, why not adopt a child?" Marley gasped, taking hold of me defensively.
"Of course we wouldn't actually adopt a kid, but maybe, for the media-"
"You're going to pretend to adopt a child? Do you know how serious that is?" Marley cut in.
"Yes, we do, but for Meg it's a great opportunity-"
"Being adopted by seven immature idiots?" I said. Emma would kill me if she heard this.
They all looked so offended, but I didn't care.
"I'll let you know, Jin is fantastic at cooking-"
"Can he make Indian food?"
The manager coughed at my question.
"I'm sorry- what?"
"Can he cook Indian food? I only like Indian food. And I'm also vegetarian."
"Erm, I'm not sure-" He took a glance at Jin, who just tapped his nose-
"I'm sure he could learn to-"
"See, you're not even certain. Do you want me to starve to death or something?" I said, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm sure that's not the case, we can eat out-"
"Every night? Are you trying to food poison me?" I raised my eyebrows.
"You really are misinterpreting my words-"
"Now you're calling me a liar." I was at the verge of laughing. I could tell Marley and the kids were too.
J-Hope burst out.
"This girl's a laugh." He said.
I smiled. I couldn't help it.
"Such a pretty smile." V said.
Damn, it really was worth learning all their names on Memrise.
I giggled. A little.
I heard V awe.
Oh my god, I'm not that cute.
"You remind me of my sister when she was your age." Namjoon said.
"Oh, thanks," I said, even more awkwardly than Jin.
"See, they're already getting along," the manager guy said persuasively to Marley.
I really don't like their manager.
She glanced at me.
"You want to, Meg?" She asked, with a bent smile.
"I- not really, but-"
"Well, if she wants to, let her!" the manager yelled, happily.
"Alright, alright. Do you want to do it now?" Marley asked, putting down her mug.
"Yes, absolutely." Jin said, smiling at me.
"I've all the papers here." the manager said, taking out a pile of documents from his large briefcase.
She took them and scanned through.
"It seems legal. You realise you have to adopt her? You can't pretend."
"Well-" the manager looked at the boys. They nodded and smiled.
"Yes, we do."
"Great," she said, signing the papers, and passing a form to him from under her drawer,
"She's all yours."
