The twins pulled into Candy and Grenda's driveway. Mabel was practically jumping in her seat. "I am so excited to see my people!" she squealed. Dipper chuckled.

"Don't get your hopes up, Mabel. It has been six years. They may have changed and matured. Maybe even more than we have." He got out of the car and walked up to the door.

"Psh, that is nonsense, Dipper. They still are gonna be my crazy, fun-loving-" Mabel was interrupted by a loud boom and a yell. Using their hunter instincts they broke the door in and ran around the house, guns in hand.

The house was filler with green smoke which seemed to be coming from the kitchen. "Grenda, open the window!" Said a voice from the kitchen.
"Got it!" replied a deeper, but still feminine voice.

The twins ran into the kitchen and saw Candy in a lab coat and about five feet tall, waving fumes away from a pile of broken glass on the floor. Grenda, who looked almost eight feet, was opening the window.

"What is going on here?!" Mabel yelled. Both of the girls stopped what they were doing and looked at the twins. Dipper quickly put his gun away as did Mabel.

"Mabel Pines?" asked Candy. Mabel nodded and was soon tackled by her two child hood friends. Dipper stood to the side and cleared his throat.

"I am here too." he said. Candy whipped around and tackled him as well.

"I did not know you were coming." Candy said. The smoke died down as it went out the window and door.

"We were in town and thought we would stop bye and say hi. What is all this?" Mabel asked. Candy and Grenda looked at each other then looked at the mess of broken glass and spilled chemicals that oddly smelled like ectoplasm.

"Um, just a little experiment." said Candy as she removed her goggles.

"Uh,an experiment with what, exactly?" Dipper went over to the mess and poked the goo which shivered at his touch. Dipper jumped back in surprise. "Uh, Mabel?"

"Girls, what is that?" she asked.

"Ectoplasm. You might want to sit down." Candy said.

The four of them went to the living room, Mabel noticed pictures on shelves of selfies of Candy and Grenda, some with Marius some with out. Mabel wondered whatever happened to him, she thought Grenda would be in Austria with him, why was she here?

"So, what is up?" Dipper asked nervously.

The two girls looked at each other again and sighed. Grenda was the first to speak.

"About five years ago, two men came into town. They were on a job, a certain kind of job that was dangerous and we got caught up in it." she said, she looked toward Candy for her to continue.

"These two men were hunters, like monster hunters. They were on a case in town. A werewolf was stealing things and hurting people. Grenda, Wendy, Robbie, Lee, Nate, Tambry, Thompson, Pacifica, and I were all hanging out in the junkyard, talking about old times, when it attacked us. We held it off for about an hour, but we were getting tired and worn out. The two men came and saved us. They told us who they were and what they did. They had told us that with our skill we could be like them, so they stayed in town for a month and trained us. Taught us as much as they could. The men left town and left us here to defend Gravity Falls." Candy finished.

Mabel and Dipper exchanged glances of astonishment. They really did not have to lie to their friends. They were all in the same business. Dipper cracked a smile and tried not to laugh. Mabel was not trying, she broke out in the loudest and most genuine laugh Dipper had heard in a long time. A look of confusion crossed their friend's faces.

"What is so funny?" Candy asked.

"We are hunters too!" she exclaimed. Mabel calmed down and began to explain. "We came here to see everyone and thought we were going to have to lie to you about what we do, but you do the same thing!" Mabel started to laugh again.

"Wait, you two are hunters too?!" asked Grenda. Dipper nodded and pulled out his salt gun from its holster. "Well, that is wonderful! Then we can help each other and-!" Grenda jumped up and gave the twins a big hug. Yep, she was still strong. Grenda put them down and the four of them started sharing hunting stories. They were all having a great time until Candy mentioned Marius. At the mention of his name Grenda looked sad.

"Grenda? What is wrong?" Mabel asked. "What happened with Marius?"

Grenda sighed and glanced at one of the pictures with Marius. In the picture Marius and Grenda had an arm  around each other and a big grin while Candy was holding the camera with one hand and doing a peace sign with the other, it looked pretty recent. Candy placed her hand on Grenda's back comfortingly. "He is married." she said. "An arranged marriage he didn't know about. The wedding was last week."

"Oh, Grenda, I am so sorry." Dipper said. He got up and hugged her, and he had grown so much that it was not as awkward as before.

"It is ok. We are moving our separate ways, besides, with my line of work it is hard to have that kind of connection." she said. "Especially with how serious the anomalies are getting."

That sentence caught Dipper's attention. "Wait, what did you say?'

"The anomalies are getting really bad. There is a job almost every night." Candy said.

"Like omens?!"
