Chapter Three

Cassandra

Chapter 3 (started 12/01/2015)

"And where do you all think you're headed?!" Cassandra stormed in glaring at all five guys.

"Nowhere in particular," Darrel said trying hard not to laugh.

"Look, it's Friday. We've got a lot scheduled both Saturday and Sunday. So don't be out late!"

"Yes, sir!" TJ saluted her with a sly grin on his face.

Once she left they all decided who did what for Luke and Nicole's first date. Nick had to stay along Zach to keep tabs on Cassandra and cover for the rest of the guys. While TJ and Darrel helped keep Cassandra away from Luke and Nicole as well set stuff up to surprise Nicole.

"Hey," Luke said once the door to Leila's house opened, before gasping. Nicole looked... well he didn't think there was a word in the English language that came close so he went with absolutely breathtaking. She stood before him wearing a fitted blue and white polka-dotted dress that showed off her nice legs and the curves of her body which he liked. She also wore a yellow sweater in case it got cold and her hair was straight falling over her shoulder and down to her waist.

"Do I really look okay because I think this is too dressy but Maggie thinks it per- are you okay?!"

Luke stopped when he noticed he was biting his bottom lip as his eyes trailed up and down her body. "S-sorry. You look lovely."

"Thank you, you look great too." She smiled looking at him. He had on faded blue jeans with a black button-up shirt, his sleeves were rolled up so that she could see the tattoos along his forearms.

Nicole smiled big when she saw his cheeks go red.

"So where are we going?"

"It's a surprise," Luke grinned.

He took her hand and led her over to the black car waiting by the driveway.

They both got in and Luke started the car. As they whizzed past buildings and large areas of scenery Nicole felt like a kid in a candy store. Snapping pictures and smiling big at things she'd never witnessed or would get to back in Mississippi. Luke couldn't help but crack a smile, it felt good to make someone he was slowly growing closer to smile. He reached over and rested his hand in hers, amazed at how small her hand was in his.

Nicole put her phone away then pulled Luke's hand and let it rest in hers on her lap. She loved how something so tiny as holding hands could make her feel so good. But she knew most things this real and amazing were usually too good too be true.

"So, where are we going?"

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." He parked the car and walked over to her door to open it for her.

"Can you at least tell me where we are?"

"We're at the Albert Dock."

Cassandra checked on all the guys; Zach and Nick were in their rooms while TJ and Darrel said they were going to the movies and that Luke was staying in and not to be bothered because he wasn't feeling well. However, she felt suspicious ever since the night he stayed out because since then he was secretive and quiet about things. She was going to find out what was going on and figured tonight would be perfect.

"Hey, I'm going out for a bit if Luke feels better or the others return, can you text me?"

"Sure thing." Zach said trying not let on that he knew what was going on.
