''I'm joining the army...''

My face grew pale. What the fuck? Ah no! Please no no no! I clenched myself around him. He was crazy. My mom petted my head, but I didn't mind it this time. I didn't want to fight him...

''And next month my first battle will begin. So I have to leave tomorrow for training.''

''Where is it?''

''At the mountain of Clockwork town. I can't tell more about it. But when it is done, it would be peaceful again in this country.'' He smiled proudly. Yeah, or not. He didn't now how fast and well trained the proxy's are.

''Please don't go...'' I whispered. He shook his head.

''Sorry... I always wanted to join the army when I was little. This is like a dream coming true. Remember when we used to play with my fake guns? You where the bad guy, I the good one.'' He blinked a few times and pushed me softly away from him. My mom pulled me in a tight hug. I didn't want him to die... I would have to fight against him. Cilan meant the world to me...

''I...I'm out for a walk...'' I whispered softly, and ran outside. Mom tried to follow me but Cilan stopped her.

''We are the only people she has. I know nothing will happen to her. She will return soon.'' I heard Cilan say, I closed the door behind me and ran towards Stacey's old house.

Nobody was home. Sadly. I always talked to her brother when Stacey wasn't at home. Hopefully they didn't move to another city, or even worse, another land. I shrugged. Stacey was the neighbour of my uncle, he looked at the window and waved at me. I didn't wave back and ran off. This was a pretty small town, so the edge was close. I walked next to a playground. I used to play there a lot. With my brother, Stacey, Stacey's brother ; Joey, and with Liu and Jeff. I felt bad for Liu. Jeff shouldn't have killed him... Jeff always seemed so protectively over him. I shrugged my head and sat down on the swing. I grabbed my backpack I was still wearing and grabbed my old game boy. My good friend, who's battery isn't stuck yet. I played some of my old games, Pokémon fire red. I was really addicted to it, and never played outside the first month after I got those two together. It was my best childhood memory. Now we all have stupid phones and stuff. After an hour I put off my game boy and started to walk around some more. Somewhere, a voice in my head keeps telling me that I should life with Jeff and Slendy to become a proxy. But I am not ready yet. They know that too, and I probably will never be. I clenched my fists and turned around. A boy with the year of eight was staring at me.

''What?'' I growled. The boy took one step backwards.

''I...I'm sorry...'' He squeaked and backed down. He had papers in his hands. I cocked my head a bit and saw 'Missing!' on it.

''Who is missing?'' I asked in a hopeful tune.

''My dog... Lucas. He went missing for two weeks already and I wanted to give you this paper... B...But if you don't want to...''

''Nah, its alright. Do you need help with spreading it around?'' My mood started to change. It was kinda sad for him. I lost my dog once too, it was really awful. The boy his eyes brighten up.

''Thank you miss!'' He said happily. He handed me some papers and we put it in almost everyone's their mailbox. The boy was funny, sometime's he made some jokes and stuff. The sun started to drown, and I helped the kid with walking home. His mom opened the door, and I bit my lip as I saw who the kids brother was. A boy from my class who bully's me sometimes. I backed down a little and smiled at his brother.

''This girl helped me with spreading the papers of Lucas!'' He squeaked with a big smile. The mom looked warmly at me.

''Thank you so much.'' She said.
