Cassandra's POV
'Yaaaaaaauuuuhhh' I rubbed my eyes and stretched my body. Today was Cassidy's 15 birthday and I was going to help momma make her some birthday pancakes. I put on some fluffy unicorn slippers and ran down stairs. "Hey baby can you please set up the table for me."momma. "I'm on it !" I said enthusiastically. About ten minutes had passed and momma and me were done cooking." Alrighty now go get your sister and father from outside."momma. I nodded my head and ran to the backyard."Breakfast is ready" I said grabbing Cassidy's hand. We walked to the dining table and ate our pancakes with chocolate milk. I ate one half of a pancake without drinking any milk so I decided to slow down and take a big gulp of chocolate milk." Let me get that for you cass"Cassidy said giggling a little. She grabbed a napkin and wiped my chocolate milk mustache away. "Thanks Cassidy." I got up and gave her a huge hug.
4 hours later 2:48 pm
"Okay girls were going to the corner bakery really quick to pick up some goodies so well be back in 10 minutes tops."Daddy said giving me and Cassidy a kiss on the head. Momma did the same then they left. "I'll be right back I'm going to go get you something from my room" I said walking up stairs. "Okay but don't take to long " Cassidy said with a smile. I went into my room and got the doll I got for Cassidy. I was almost about to start walking down stairs when I felt the ground shake. "Cass are you okay ?" Cassidy said a little worried. "Yeah I'm fine" I took one step then I felt the ground shake again. "Oh no..." I heard Cassidy say in a low voice. I saw Cassidy start running up the stairs."What's wrong Cassidy?!" I said in a panicked voice. I felt the ground shake again but even harder. "EARTHQUAKE!!!" Cassidy grabbed my hand and started running towards the bathroom. The ground kept shaking. "Get in here now."Cassidy got into the bathtub then put me in there she wrapped her hands around me super tight. "Just stay still Cass and we'll make it through this !" Cassidy pulled me in even tighter. I could hear the car engine in front of the house. "WE'RE COMING BABIES!!!" Mommy and daddy said.Cassidy got up and carried me out of the restroom she started running towards mommy and daddy on the stairs when she threw me across to daddy and fell in a hole on the floor. Daddy gave me to mommy and she started running down the stairs out of the house. "I could hear her yelling for my dad's help and screaming in pain and fear.
Cassidy's POV
"DADDY HELP ME , AHH" I started loosing grip on the floor. Dad ran towards me. But it was too late I lost grip. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I saw dad jump for my hand but he missed. My life was flashing before my eyes there was probably a 1% chance of me living the fall. I felt my back slowly and painfully hit the floor. 'Uh' I took slow deep breathes. "CASSIDY ARE YOU OKAY PLEASE SAY SOMETHING!!!" I opened my eyes and saw dad looking through the hole in the floor for me. But he couldn't see me because of all the dirt and dust. I used all my strength and yelled Cass's full name "CASSANDRA" I closed my eyes and started to cry I wouldn't make it out.
Cassandra's POV
Dad ran out of the house without Cassidy. The whole house came falling down and I heard one last scream of mercy. "HELP ME!!!" I closed my eyes and hot steaming tears began falling off of my face. "CASSIDY! " I screamed with all my strength and fell to the ground. "Cassidy, Cassidy, I love you. " I whispered to my self wiping my tears. The earthquake finally stopped. My home was destroyed and I lost the person I most carried about. My sister Cassidy...
