Getting To Know Junhong

I made my way over to the front of the school gates and waited for Zelo. After a couple minutes, I saw Zelo walking out of school with a couple of his friends, who are also Kingkas. Zelo immediately smiled once he saw me at the school gates. He ran up to me, leaving Yongguk and Jongup behind.

"Does that mean that we get to hang out today?" Zelo asked while smiling widely. 

"I'm free, but if you have something to do, do that first and we'll hang out on another day." I said while pointing at Yongguk and Jongup. Zelo looked back at those two then back at me. 

"We don't have anything to do." He said. 

"Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded his head while still smiling widely. 

"Alright, then." I said quietly. 

"I'll be right back." He said then ran back over to Yongguk and Jongup. After a couple minutes later, Zelo came back. "I'm ready." He said. 

"So, where do you want to go?" I asked while walking towards the bus stop with Zelo.

"Do you like skateboarding?" He asked. 

"I love skateboarding." I said with wide eyes. 

"We can go skateboarding at the park." Zelo said while smiling.

"But I don't have my skateboard." I said. 

"We can stop by my house and you can borrow one of mine." He said. 

"Cool, let's go." I said then started to speed up. "One question, where's your house?" I asked. Zelo smiled then walked up to me. 

"Come on." He said while smiling then held my hand. We walked down the street then turned right, then left, then another left, and finally another right. We finally made it to his house after about thirty minutes. Zelo took out his keys and unlocked the door for the two of us. "Mom, I'm home." He said while taking his backpack off. A lady walked out the living room, 

"Oh, look, you brought a lady friend home." She said while smiling. "Are you his girlfriend?" She asked.

"Mom," Zelo whined. "She's just a friend, we're going to the park to skateboard." Zelo said while pulling me into his room. 

"Whatever you say, just leave the door opened." His mother shouted. Zelo groaned before slamming the door shut. 

"Junhong, you're too rough! Most girls don't like that!" She shouted. 

"Mom, stop embarrassing me!" Zelo shouted. I couldn't help but laugh at their son and mother "fight". 

"Okay, mommy will stop." She said.

"Thank you." Zelo said while opening his closet. He grabbed the skateboard that was laying on the floor. "Pick one that you like." He said. I picked a skateboard that fits me the most. 

"Can I leave my stuff here?" I asked. Zelo nodded his head, Both of us walked back into the living room. 

"We're going out." Zelo said while getting his keys.

"Use protection!" She shouted. 

"Mom." Zel whined again.

"What? All I said was use protection, I don't want you scrapping yourself when you fall." She said. 

"Oh," Zelo said quietly. "Well, we'll be going." He said while pushing me out of his house. Once we got out, he locked the door. "Well, that was awkward." He said. 

"You made it awkward." I said. 

"That's true." He said. I smiled.

"So, where's the park?" I asked. 

"I usually got to the park that's near a cafe down there." He said while pointing down the street. 

"Race you there?" I asked while placing the skateboard down. 

"Race you there." Zelo said while placing his skateboard down too. "Ready, set, go!" Zelo shouted. 

I got on my board and pushed myself ahead of him. I turned around and I couldn't see Zelo behind me. Where did he go? I stopped and looked around. I went back to where he was before, but I still couldn't find him. Maybe, he's at the park already. I thought to myself as I got back on my board. I skated all the way to the park. Once I got there, I found Zelo sitting on one of the swings. I ran over to him with his skateboard under my arm. 

"What took you so long?" Zelo asked while getting up. 

"I went back." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"I couldn't find you so I went back." I said. Zelo smiled.

"Aww, you care about me!" Zelo shouted while smiling widely. 

"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?" I asked. Zelo shrugged his shoulders. 

"I don't know, maybe, because you barely know me." Zelo said. 

"Yeah, it's true that I barely know you but I still care about you." I said then walked over to him. "You're going to be like my little brother." I said while ruffling his hair. A couple minutes turned into hours. We ended up going back to his house around eight. 

"Mom, I'm home." Zelo said. A guy then walked out of the kitchen. 

"Mom's cooking dinner." He said. He then looked at me. "Who is your lady friend over here?" He asked. 

"This is EunA, my friend from school." Zelo said then looked at me. "That's Junseo, my brother." He said while pointing at him. I hummed in response. 

"Nice to meet you." I said while smiling.

"Nice to meet you too." He said. I then looked at their clock. 

"I think I should go, it's getting late." I said. Zelo hummed in response. 

"I'll walk you home." He said. 

"Just let me get my stuff, first." I said while walking into Zelo's room. 

"Junhong." I heard his mother saying from the kitchen. "Is EunA leaving already?" She asked. 

"Yes, mom." Zelo answered. 

"Ask her if she wants to stay for dinner." His mother said.

"I would love to stay, Mrs.Choi, but I really have to go home." I said while putting my shoes back on. 

"Oh, maybe, next time then." She said. I nodded my head while smiling. 

"We'll be going now, bye Mrs. Choi and Junseo." I said while waving goodbye. 

"I hope to see you again!" Mrs. Choi shouted while Junseo waved. Both of us went out the door and over to the bus stop. 

"You know that you don't have to walk me home, right?" I asked while sitting down on the bench. 

"I know, but I want to." Zelo said. 

"Okay, then." I said quietly. After a couple minutes, the bus finally came. "You can go back home, I can go by myself." I said. 

"Are you sure?" Zelo asked. I nodded my head. "Okay, then. Be careful." He said. I hummed in response. 

"I'll see you at school." I said while getting on the bus. I sat near the window and looked out. While the bus was driving, I could see Junhong waved at me. I smiled then waved back.
