Cykeem
"So Khalu and moms are coming to visit".
"Yes today, I pray and hope this be quick".
"It will, you want me to come over and show support or your daddy coming".
"Bye Keem".
"Don't you hang up in my fa-" the call had ended. She lucky I have things to do, I'll stop by eventually to see her mom.
Julye
I didn't have time to deal with Keem, I made sure my place was clean which I always clean my place even when it don't need it.
There was a knock at the door causing me to jump a little. Looking through the peek hole it was my mom and Khalia, before opening up the door I took a deep breath.
As I open the door my mom hug me like it has been years "Look at you, seem like you done pick up some weight" she step back to look at me.
"I have been eating, I'm not pregnant that's for sure".
"Julye my favorite sister I love" Khalia pull me in for a hug. I hug back but was caught off guard cause she never hug me, why all of a sudden now.
"Nice to see you again Khalia, what brings you here".
Khalia start looking around my place before answering me. "You know I didn't want mom to come alone, plus I wanted to hang with you big sis" she cheesed.
Can she stop with that act she is putting on. August was on his way over, I'll be glad once he gets here.
"So Julye is there a special person in your life I should know about" my mom said.
I was about to answer when there was a knock at the door.
"That should be him" I tell her walking towards the door to open it to see August.
"Is this the young man" my mom stood to her feet walking over to us.
"Yes, mom this is August. August this is my mom Lanett and my half sister Khalia".
"Nice to meet you ma'am".
"It's a pleasure, now I find it funny that his name is August".
"I did as well once Keem introduce me to him" I held onto August hand.
August couldn't stay long since he had to work leaving me with my annoying sister. My mom was in my room sleeping from being on the road to come here.
Khalia on the other hand was trying her best to annoy me. I wasn't about to sit here and act like everything is peachy when it's not.
"I should've known you was into them thuggish type guys".
Here she go with the judging "August is not a thug so stop with all that".
"I'm only calling it as I see it" she smirk.
"And where is your man"? I shot back.
"We're not on me right now, hows college life" by then she start pacing the floor while scrolling on her phone.
"College is good".
"Sure about that, what I had seen seems like you're not doing so good" she turn her phone towards me showing me that video of me.
I end up slapping the phone out of her hand "You think you can just come up in my palce and harassed me, that's going to happen.
I am no longer going to sit here and let you make me feel bad, keep trying me and you'll find yourself catching the bus back home".
"Whatever you say Ms. Julye who thinks she's all that cause she finally got her a boyfriend. I bet you didn't even tell him about your little secret".
"You know what find a hotel to stay in, you're not welcome to stay here" I open up my front waiting for her to leave.
"Find I'll go, make sure you tell mom I'll be at the Holiday Inn" soon as Khalia left I close my door locking it.
The nerve of that girl to try to bring up my old past. There's no way I could tell August about my past, Keem been my friend for years and he doesn't even know.
Khalia better stay far away from me.
Khalia
Julye really think she can run away from her past. I would make sure she suffer like I did, I was never happy growing up so now I will make Julye miserable as long as I'm here.
Since I drove here I had enough money to get a room. Before I made my way to the hotel, I stop by Starbucks to get me a Mocha Latte.
Walking into the place I seen that thug Juyle is talking to. "How can I help you"?
"Can I get a Mocha Latte".
"Anything else"?
"Nope that will be all" he told me the total I handed him my card.
"You August right" which I knew that.
"Yeah we not to long ago met" he gave me back my card.
"Right, I can't see how you dating my sister".
"What you mean by that, I like your sister alot better yet I love her".
"Aww how sweet, I hate to break it to you but Julye is not who she say she is" I grab my drink walking off.
"What you trying to say"?
I stop in my tracks turning to face him.
"She's going to have to tell you herself, it's not my place to tell her business" and with that I left him wondering.
I'm about to show Julye who she's dealing with.
