Cykeem
I couldn't be more happy that I was off today and had a free day from class. I end up staying in the dorm all day since there was nothing to do while it's raining.
"Man I know you heard what happen at the party the other night" Damon come walking in taking a seat on his bed.
"No, I'm quite sure it was the same old thing they usual do" I sat up.
"More than that, Candice and her friends did the most" he come tossing his phone making catch it. I look at the screen seeing what was going on, by the background being so loud I could hardly hear.
They was hanging some girl upside down over the balcony.
"Man what the hell is this, y'all always got some shit going. I don't want to see this".
"If you would look close to the screen you would know that girl is Julye".
"What"? I look real closely and sure enough that was her. I watch as they drop her and the video stop.
"Yo that's foul as fuck" I threw the phone back at him. "Why would you record that instead of helping her" I was drove at this point I was sick.
"That was some shit" Damon start laughing.
"Pathetic" I grab my keys leaving out the room. I needed to see if Julye was alright, how come she didn't tell me.
Julye
"Ms. Knight how come you didn't help your fellow partners with the project".
"Mr. Banks I did help, matter of fact I did the whole thing by myself" I frown.
I knew Candice was going to try something else. Plus she didn't even show up today, so how he gonna sit up here and tell me what I didn't do.
"Well how about this I'll give you a 'B' since you said you help".
I couldn't believe this, I get a B while they get an A for not even doing the freaking project.
Once I left class I was on my way back to my place. The rain had ease up a bit so I had time to get home before it rain again.
As I was walking I seen Keem driving next to me. "Julye get in the car I'll take you home".
I hop in his car and he took off. From the look on his face he seem upset, like something was bothering him.
"Wanna grab a bite to eat"? He ask me.
"Sure, is there something wrong"?
"How come you didn't tell me that Damon and them hurt you" my heart nearly drop.
"I didn't think it was a big of a deal and Damon didn't have nothing to do with it. It was Candice and her friends".
We pull up to Taco Bell and got out. Guess we eating inside, after we order our food we took a seat.
"Julye it don't matter, you could had at least still told me. Don't you know they could have kill you".
I look else where other than him, this is the reason why I didn't say nothing.
"Cykeem can you drop it please".
"Why should I, you're a sweet girl Ju and I love you like a sister. Stop letting these people push over you start fighting back instead of being nice all the time".
By then our food was ready. Cykeem grab our food then we got in the car, on the ride back to my place it was quiet.
"Are you mad at me"? I ask him once he turn off his car.
"No but I'm upset, I wish you would have told me. You know its not good to hold in things".
"I know Keem and you're right but I'm okay honestly, they'll get there's. Now get out the car cause I'm ready to feed my face".
I didn't want Cykeem to worried about me. Yes it could've been worst, I'm still here though. He was still pretty upset at me, after he stay with me for a little while he left.
I clean up my mess before getting in my bed to watch some tv before dozing off. I couldn't wait to visit my mom during the holiday break.
