Temporary Fix (L.G)

I sat in my semi clean room, music playing from a beaten down speaker on my bedside table as a soft knock came at my door. I groaned as I pushed my calculus books out of my lap and made my way towards the door seeing my baby brother Robin holding his teddy bear

" Rob what's up baby?" I asked, kneeling down as he pulled me into a hug

" Mummy and Daddy are scaring me Liv, they're yelling too much" He cried out as I held him up and brought him over to my bed and turned

" Stay in here okay?" I asked as he nodded, pulling my silk covers over his head. I sighed as I pulled a large grey cardigan over my baseball shirt and stomped down the stairs where Mum and Dad were once again arguing

" BOTH OF YOU, SHUT THE FUCK UP" I screeched as they both faced me, their faces bright red

" Don't you tell me what to do you little whore"

" Excuse me? What the hell did you just call me?" I asked through clenched teeth as Dad stepped forward, coming face to face with me

" You heard me, I called you a whore" He said, slapping me making me clench my fists together

" Oh i'm a whore, please enlighten me on my whore ways" I said 

" You're always with that Gallagher boy, the older one, you're fucking him" Dad screamed as his spit hit my face

" Okay first of all, ew, second of all I'm not fucking Lip, he's my best friend why would I fuck him?" I asked 

Dad shook his head as he brought his head back and headbutted me right in the middle of my nose

" WHAT THE HELL?" I screeched as the blood ran down my face 

I touched my nose and brought my hand back, seeing the red substance covering my hand. I groaned as I turned to face Dad again

" This is not normal, a father does not do this to his fucking daughter okay?" I exclaimed, turning back on my heels and running up into my room, grabbing my black duffle bag

" Liv, what happened to your nose?" Robin asked

" Daddy did something bad baby boy, come on" I said, throwing my clothes into the bag as Robin pulled the covers back

" Grab my phone and call Ian okay?" I said as Robin nodded, grabbing my phone and turned it so I could put in the passcode. He went through my contacts and pressed on Ian. I kissed his forehead as I threw my school books into my duffle bag

" Hello?" Ian groaned

" Ian, I need you to pick me up from my house" I said frantically, zipping up my bag that was filled to the brim

" Liv what happened?" He asked as a voice was heard from the other side 

" Dad did some shit, I'll be waiting out the front with Robin" I said, slipping my converses on and grabbing Robin

" Want to have a sleepover with Liam buddy?" I asked, putting my phone on my shoulder

" Yeah yeah I want to be with Liam" Robin exclaimed in an excited tone

" Lip and I will be there in 2 minutes, stay outside Liv okay? I love you"

" Love you too Gallagher" 

I hung up the call as I sprinted down the stairs, running past dad and mum who were both black out drunk once again, I shut the door behind me as I pulled the hood over Robin's fair hair

" Don't get cold baby" I said, kissing his cold cheek as he giggled

" Livy" He complained as I laughed, small snowflakes fell from the sky. I smiled as a car horn beeped.
