I always thought that life was simple. Grow up, become educated, get a job, have a family, then die years later. But what I never really thought about was how one person could change your life forever. Who changed mine? Well, let me tell you how it all started.

*Flashback*

"Titi, I'm gonna go on a lunch break with Seanna. Is that okay?" I over to my aunt who was in the storage closet of the music store she owned, Treble Palace.

"Yeah, mami. Just be back no later than 2:30. After lunch is when the sale starts." She yelled back. Brushing her hands off, she walked back over to the counter to reach for her purse underneath.

"Toma, here's $25. That should cover it."

"Thanks, Titi Mari," I said to her kissing her cheek.

"Alright, beba. Just be careful okay? I don't trust those boys who are always trying to find their way into your pants," she said worriedly.

"It's okay. I can handle myself." I gave her an assuring smile and left with my girl Seanna.

We grabbed a bite at Olive Garden for lunch. I may be Puerto Rican, but I love Italian food.

"So how's things? With you and Alex?" I ask Seanna. She blushed.

"Still going strong after 3 years. We're going to go see a movie after you and I finish here and hang out. Oh and next week he's taking me out for our anniversary."

"I find it amazing that despite the fights, the tears, the laughter and everything in between, you guys are still going strong. I'm really happy for you guys," I say, giving her a smile. She returned it.

"You'll find him. That guy one day. The one that will actually understand you and take you for your personality, not just your beauty. I guarantee it." I grimaced. She changed the subject.

"So a little birdie told me that Josh Sanders has the hots for you." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah I heard too. As a matter of fact, last week he hit on me at Casey's 16th birthday party. Said he wanted to talk to me privately. I didn't trust him at first but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong though. The moment we went outside, he hit on me, kissed me and tried to feel me up."

"What did you do?" She asked worriedly.

I laughed. "What do you think I did? Kicked him in his balls!" She laughed along with me.

"There's the Vanessa I know!" We giggled and finished our meals.

After Seanna and I split off on our own, I went towards to restroom. Only to find someone unexpected there.

"I think I lost them.." They whispered, sounding out of breath.

"Lost who?" I ask. The person look up at me startled. No...

"Justin Bieber?" I whisper. He nods.

"What are you doing in the girls bathroom?" I giggled lightly.

"Hiding from a bunch of-"

"Scream girls? Figures. But where that bodyguard of yours um Kevin? I think..." I say unsure. That was the name Seanna mentioned before right?
