Chapter Four

LISA'S POV.

I just watched Lauren fall to her knees and start sobbing uncontrollably her head in her hands. I know, I know I'm such a bad sister! But I physically couldn't move. I was to shocked to do anything. I finally snapped out of it and ran over to Lauren. And knelt down next to her.

"Hey, hey don't cry! I hate seeing you this hurt and broken" I whispered

"B-but s-someone has D-d-dani!" She said

"And we're going to get her back!" I said

She looked up at me. her big brown eyes, that matched my own, full of hurt. I had never seen her like this and I don't like it. I hugged her tightly and she started crying again. I let go.

"I'm going to call Mike and Chrissy, ok?" I said

She nodded and I sighed and took out my phone. I called mike first.

Mike- "Hello?"

Lisa- "Hey Mike, you need to get down here right now!"

DANI'S POV.

I sighed and sat up. I'm bored so. so. so. so bored. I got up and decided I should entertain myself. I went to the center of the room and started doing my pizza dance. I know, I know, your probably like pizza dance? What's a pizza dance? Well I'm not sure what a pizza dance is either! But I'm doing it! I was in the middle of my pizza dance when I heard a voice behind me.

"Oh Dani, you always were the weirdest one" it said

I turned around and gasped.

"YOU DID THIS?!?" I yelled

AMY'S POV.

Mike had gotten a call from Lisa. He got off the phone and turn to me.

"We need to go, like now" he said.

"What's happening?" I asked

"I don't know but it sounds serious" he responded.

"Oh and we need to pick up Christina and Kath" he said

I nodded and hopped back in to the car. He got in too and started the engine and went to pick up Kath and Chrissy. They were already waiting for us. They got in and Mike drove off to where Lisa and Lauren were. When we got there we found Lauren on her knees crying her little eyes out and Lisa kneeling next to her rubbing her back. I ran over to comfort Lauren. I kelt down on the other side of her.

"Lisa, what-" she cut me off by handing me a letter. I read it and finally understood.

"Hey Lisa, where's the bat?" I asked

Lauren started crying even harder and Lisa looked at me sadly. I was confused. Lisa pointed at an object about 5 feet away. How didn't I notice it before. I went over and picked it up. It looked like a normal bat. I turned it over to the side and gasped dropping it. I could feel the color rush out of my face as I dropped the bat and sat down hugging my knees.

CHRISTINA'S POV.

I saw Amy run over to Laur and Lisa. Lisa handed her a letter and Amy read it. She looked at Lisa sadly. And then asked something. Lauren started crying even harder which confused me. Lisa pointed over to an object about 5 ft. Away from them. Amy picked it up and looked at it, it was a bat. She then turned it over and I saw the color rush out of her face. She dropped the bat and sat down on the ground hugging her knees to her chest. I looked over at Katherine and Mike and we ran over to Amy. She was rocking back and forth saying something I couldn't understand. I looked at Kath and picked up the bat. Examining it. I don't get it. I turned it over and saw it. It was covered in blood... Dani's blood. I dropped it my hands shaking. Kath picked it up and once she saw the blood she threw up. Kath hates blood, HATES it. I sat down next to Amy my hands still shaking. I put my arms around her small figure as she continued to mumble and rock back and forth. I looked up at Kath and Mike, Mike was looking at the bat. He looked mad. No, not mad pissed, he looked pissed. Kath was shaking and looked really pale. I looked back over where Lisa and Lauren were. They were walking over to us.

"I guess you guys saw the bat" Lisa said sitting down next to me.

"Yea" I whispered

"Discussing isn't it?" She said

I nodded and then Lauren spoke up.

"Can we go search the batting cages now?"

"Batting cages?" Me, Kath and Mike said at the same time.

Lisa sighed and handed us a note. I read it, my face becoming paler and paler by the second. I gave the note to Kath and Mike to read and picked Amy up so we could go to the car.

"Yes Laur, we are going to the batting cages" I said looking over at Lauren.

I went over to the car with Amy in my arms and got in outing Amy in shot gun again. She was in such a state of shock she couldn't move. Everyone else climbed into the car.

"Which batting cage are we going to?" Mike asked

"Well the bat was a Louisville slugger and isn't there one called Louisville slugger batting cages?" Laur said

"Ummm I think so" Mike said

He started the engine and we were off. Nobody was saying much since we were all trapped in our own thoughts. Mike drove up to a parking lot. I looked up at the building. Louisville slugger batting cages.

"Well we're here" I said

Everyone else nodded.

"So what's the plan?" I asked.

"I think we should spilt up by twos again" Mike said

"Ok, so me and Amy, Laur and Mike, and Kath and Lisa?" I asked/said

"Sounds good" Amy said finally snapping out of it.

We walked out of the car and made our way over to the door of the cages. What are we going to find here?
