Chapter Fourteen

LAUREN'S POV.

The next 20 minutes were all a blur to me. I remember the ambulance coming and lifting Dani into the back and Alex and Christina trying to calm me down but failing to. I was to worried about my little spice to move let alone talk.

"LAUREN!! TALK TO ME! YOUR REALLY WORRYING ME!" Christina yelled shaking me

I just stared at her with blank eyes. I physically couldn't do anything. Why would Angela do this to Dani? Angela... my old best friend, my 6th sister, I trusted her. what did I do wrong? This is all my fault. I shouldn't have fought with Angela... if Dani dies I don't think I would be able to live with myself... and Ryan, why would he be apart of this... is it because of me too? Would he really go to the extreme of possibly killing Dani because of me? I look up and realize Alex had put me in the car and we were driving to the hospital... where I seem to be spending most of time this past month. Once we got to the hospital I ran out of the car and into the hospital. once I ran up to the emergency care unit I found the rest of my family standing outside a door.. most of them were crying. I walked up to my parents.

"Is she ok? Where is she? is she dead? NO! She cant-"

"Lauren stop! We don't know yet! She in surgery right now!" My father said putting a hand on my shoulder

"She has to be! She promised me she's never going to leave me!" I yelled frantically

"She will even if she does die, Laur... she'll be in your heart." My mom said calmly.

I looked up at my mom... it must be hard for her... she almost lost 4 daughters, and she still might lose 2. I hugged her and she hugged me back. I let all the tear out on her shoulder, but she didn't mind I mean that's what moms are for right?

After a few hours a doctor came out with a unreadable expression. He looked at us and said

"Your daughter Dani is..."

I think mine is green/hazel like Dani's. But I also LOVE brown eyes.

Mines defiantly softball... or the girl version of baseball.
