Today is the day. I throw on a striped white and navy top, with pastel orange shorts. I look in the mirror, and see my image. I close my eyes, and imagine Liv standing in front of me, about to hug me. I sigh happily and open my eyes, and see my... My cuts. I sigh sadly, and sit down on my messy bed. I stare at the decorated wall with polaroids of Caleb, Hayley, coral girls, and especially Katie. I look down, desperately avoiding looking at her face again, but she stays stuck in my head like superglue. I decide I need to get over it and actually leave.
"Mommy I'm going on a walk". I say.
"By yourself?" She asks nervously.
"Yes, mom, I think I'm old enough bye now."
"Ok then, hope you have fun" she says and kisses my on the forehead.
"Thanks, bye love you."
"Love you too sweetie."
I grinned widely as I strolled the streets of my neighbourhood. I was having an amazing time, until BANG! Head first into... Katie.
