{~song for chapter: December-Ariana Grande~} Winter's POV: ~the next day~ *beep beep* A low sound from my very small & very cute alarm clock lets out I open my eyes & the sides of my mouth curl up as I smile Today is my date with Nate.. I brush my teeth & rush back into my room I sit down in bed & watch tv I watch a few Christmas specials that they give in the mornings... I make myself breakfast & I eat peacefully in my room.. Christian's mother leaves the 22nd which means Hallelujah to me! But until that I have about 15-16 days still with her in the house.. Thank god I'm going back to work pretty soon.. I brush my teeth again & rinse my mouth out with mouthwash I brush my hair out & I tie it up in two separate braids I put on lipgloss & do a simple eyeliner nothing too winged out or long Just a small line that's all.. I search for a outfit & hope to look great for my date..

I get dressed & put on a heavy jacket after feeling the Arctic crisp air from outside I put on gloves & put a beanie on for extra protection I grab my purse & stuff my iPhone in my bag I walk downstairs Should've not spoken too soon.. Christian's mother stares at me weirdly "Where are you going looking like that?" She asks with her jaw dropped "Out." I say & I walk straight to the door "On a date??" She asks sounding pissed She wants to know so badly!! I'll tell her. "Yes on a date." I snap at her She backs away "You are such a...ugh! My son wants to be with you!" She blurts out I freeze just to fool her.. "Really?" I ask sounding as if I cared "Yes he loves you..he wants you two to make up & not go through with the divorce..He wants to have a baby." She says sounding sincere "Like I care...he treated me like crap & this is what he gets." I say & open the door "Your being unreasonable..you two could be happy..you could try a surrogate or try vitro fertilization?!" She says I shake my head "I'm better without him." I say smiling & close the door in her face.. I text Nate "Winter☃❄️🎄: I'm ready wya?" "Nate✨: look up.😘" I raise a eyebrow & look up to see him with a bouquet of poinsettia flowers Which I love getting them around this time.. I gasp & he smiles "Where's Mary?" I ask curious "My sister's in town for the day & is taking her out." He says "Oh.." I say & sigh I seem to like Mary the most... "Shall we start our date?" He asks with his arm out waiting for me I giggle & wrap my arm around his "We shall" I say & we walk away.. ~at the skating rink~ He surprised me really good with this... but it's something I've never done...before EVER! I'll be leading today how to skate.. I hope I don't bust my ass.. We walk over to a counter "Hello. We'd like to rent some skates" Nate says to the young man "What sizes sir?" He asks politely We say our sizes & he pays for our skates I go sit down at the bench & start taking cute pictures of myself He walks back with a pair of skates "Size 9 for you babygirl" he says & places them down I slip them on but struggle to tie them Again I've never done this before.. I don't know how to tie...skating laces.. Nate bends down on his knees & ties them for me I smile & he helps me up I wobble a little "I feel like I'm gonna twist my ankle" I say & I trip over before I could fall..Nate ran quickly in his skates & caught me I was surprised at how he could run in his.. Now I knew I was dealing with a pro... We enter the rink & already I'm slipping But he catches me luckily.. We go around in a circle & he spins me around I end up falling down on my ass I groan in pain & he helps me up Only for me to fall again a second later.. ~2 hours later~ I'm still falling & I'm pretty sure I got bruises But it's all worth it.. He wraps his arms around me & moves me around He leans in & cups my face with one hand "Nate..I'm having so much fun today." I say smiling "It's only getting better." He says & kisses me softly... ~after the rink~ We're driving back to my house.. He places his hand on my thigh & I wince in pain He quickly lifts his hand off of it "I'm sorry I forgot" he says & turns on the heat to warm us up.. I nod & frown ~at the house~ I let him in since I can barely walk... He offers to stay since he gave his sister the keys to his house.. He trusts his sister with Mary so..it's all good.. I soak myself in a warm bath while he makes hot cocoa in my kitchen Luckily monster in law isn't home... She left a note saying she'll be out until 12am Like I cared anyway... I get out of the bath & I hiss at the sight of my purple bruises from skating.. I put some medicine on them & I get dressed in long warm pj pants & a loose fitting t-shirt I take off my makeup & I climb in bed Nate hands me my cup of hot cocoa I sip some after letting it chill for a bit.. I sigh in relief feeling the warmth of it.. He drinks his whole cup & places it down He climbs in my bed & wraps his arms around me We watch a couple of movies & I end feeling sleepy.. He turns off the tv & dims the lights.. He covers me the sheets & rubs my back He kisses my head "Rest beautiful" he says & I close my eyes I fall asleep with my head on his chest Hearing his heartbeat.. ~after a while~ Nate's POV: I watched as she drifted off into sleep.. I heard the front door open Winter's bedroom door was locked thank god. I quickly wrote a small letter & placed it under her pillow I kissed her head one more time & opened up her window.. I climbed out & shut it quickly.. I hid the bushes after hearing noises & I quickly found my car I drove away with my mind totally on her.. As I saw her beautiful self in such a wonderful sleep..
