"now what?" yeri asked jungkook after successfully pulling an all-nighter with him. "i don't know, we should probably eat breakfast." jungkook said right as his stomach growled.
after walking for about 15 minutes, they reached a restaurant that was packed with people. "this is my favourite breakfast place." yeri said as she pushed the front door open.

"thank you." yeri said with a smile as their waiter finished repeating their order. "oh look!! my favourite boy group!" yeri said excitedly as she pointed to the tv screen not too far away from their table.
it was the blood sweat and tears music video playing but instead of jungkook, it was a random guy who didn't even look like jungkook replacing him. "what the hell?" jungkook said as he watched his replacement.
although jungkook already knew namjoon was apart of BTS, he pretended as if he didn't and asked yeri about it. "your brother is a member of BTS?" jungkook asked as he watched them do the knife-like choreography. "yeah he is!" she began and continued blabbering about how great of a rapper namjoon was. "i know yeri, i know it all." jungkook thought to himself.

after finishing their delicious breakfast, yeri thought it would be best for the both of them to head back and nap.
yeri quietly unlocked her front door, praying to the heavens that her brother was not waiting for her cause she knew her brother would kill her for staying out all night with jungkook.
thankfully, namjoon was out with his girlfriend. jungkook hopped into the shower first and changed into a fresh pair of clothes which yeri dug out of namjoon's closet.
yeri hopped in bed and jungkook did the same on the floor that he called his bed. suddenly, it started to rain heavily. there was so much thunder and lightning, jungkook was genuinely scared.
"...jungkook?" a soft voice squeaked. jungkook hummed in response. "can you stay by me on the bed? i'm really scared of thunder and lightning, basically rain in general." yeri said as she sat up. of course, jungkook didn't hesitate.
he laid next to her with his hands on his torso while yeri was laying with her back facing him. he could see her flinch every time lightning and thunder appeared. his eyes softened at the sight. he decided to comfort her. he hesitantly brought his hand to her hair and gently stroked her soft locks. soon enough, she was sound in his arms.
