The last tones echoed over the silent hills. Kumiko slowly opened her eyes and glanced at Reina, who was standing in front of her. Reina turned back to Kumiko and walked up to her and then sat down next to the girl. Kumiko found it hard to breathe. Reina wore that same white dress she wore the first time they went up this mountain.

' So, why did you ask me to come here again?' Kumiko asked after a few moments of silence. Reina glanced at her before staring in front of her. ' Because I just wanted to be with you and talk with you in silence in a place we can't be disturbed.' Reina answered. ' And that's why we went all the way up here? Nice.' Kumiko said with a giggle.

' Rude.' Reina simply answered while continuing to look in front of her. ' I was just kidding Reina. I love it up here.' Kumiko said while taking the girls hand. She frowned when Reina pulled her hand back. ' Is something the matter?' She asked the raven-haired.

' Do you remember your promise?' Reina then asked while getting up. Kumiko rose a brow. ' Our promise?' She slowly repeated. ' So you forgot.' Reina stated with a cold voice. ' N-no, of course I didn't forget our promise!' Kumiko quickly said. ' Then what was our promise?'

Kumiko gulped. ' Uhh, it was about you and me?' Kumiko tried. She knew she was screwed. Her eyes widened when she saw Reina's face. She had seen that expression only a few times. Reina was hurt. She was hurt, because of Kumiko. She could almost feel her heart stop when she realised. Their promise.

' Of course I remember, Reina. I promised you I would stay with you, didn't I?' Kumiko then said with a smile. ' Then why didn't you.' Reina said and Kumiko's smile disappeared. ' What.. do you mean?' She asked. ' All that time. You only had eyes for Tanaka-senpai.' Reina said with the same cold voice as before. ' You betrayed me, Kumiko.'

The brunette felt her heart skip a beat. ' Of course I haven't betrayed you! I could never do that!' She said while raising her voice. ' And if I betrayed you, you betrayed me first!' Kumiko continued. Her tone turned into yelling. She started to tear up.

' I betrayed you?' Reina repeated while cocking her head. ' Didn't you say that you loved me?!' Kumiko yelled. ' Then why do you love Taki-sensei so much?!' She then brought out with a broken voice. ' How could you say so lightly ' This is a confession of love' when you love him?' Kumiko asked while tears started to roll down her face.

' I love Taki-sensei. That is no lie. I have loved him for a very long time.' Reina started slowly while walking towards Kumiko. Kumiko swiped away some tears angrily. ' I love how he is and I love how I works towards his goals.' She continued to say. She avoided Kumiko's eyes. ' But I also love you.' Reina said while looking up.

' Liar.' Kumiko only said as she turned away from her. ' Then we are liars together.' Reina said while grabbing Kumiko's wrist. She pulled the girl towards her. ' But that doesn't matter. Taki-sensei, he was married. You didn't tell me about that.' She said while looking up to Kumiko. The girl gulped loudly. ' He didn't want me too.'

' I see.' Reina slowly answered. ' But like I said. It doesn't matter anymore. I love Taki-sensei. But I also love you.' Reina continued to say. She pulled Kumiko closer till they were only an inch apart. Her breath tickled Kumiko's face. ' This is another confession of love, after all.' She said before kissing Kumiko.
