Getting Harder

I just found out that my father is the lord of the underworld, not Jackson. Jackson was a student of my dad. He picked him up in the thought of me. He said that Jackson was the same as I am but the difference between us is that I have someone and he has no one. His parents died after he was born and no one accepted him, not the vampires or the lycans. They were afraid of him.

Jackson met a girl and he fell in love with her. Dad said that he saw her gave Jackson a drink that made him out of his mind. The girl was a human so we assumed she's an alchemist.

Alchemists are a group of humans who believed that the world would be better without the monsters around. They were the reason why the world is divided into two. All the member of the alchemist has an eye tattoo somewhere on their body. That's the only proof that they're an alchemist.

Like Hyuna, my first friend. She made me feel like I belong to the world even without a family. She was an alchemist and I found her tattoo on her back. At first I didn't care since she was my best friend. We kept each other's secret until one day when she saw me with my blue glowing eyes. She told me to come with her and ended in the sewage where her hidden lab was. She put me in chains and stabbed me with some kind of black metal sticks all over my body.

She called me a freak, a monster, inhuman, a beast. She called anything she can think of. She made me numb to all the feelings. She made me realize that trusting someone can lead you down. I trusted her more than Taeyeon.

She was too obsessed with the grim's blood that she driven mad when she saw the blood flows out of my body. She didn't care anymore. I want to die but everything seems too impossible for me now. Before blacking out, I watched as the window of her lab crashed, revealing someone with bright purple eyes under the hood that she is wearing. She looked me on the eyes as I looked at hers. She gnarred at Hyuna and pushed her out of the way. The other alchemists' dragged Hyuna out the room while other runs in fear.

I moaned in pain as the blood continues to flow out of my body. The girl quickly removed me from the chains and took out whatever stabbed in me. I heard her soft whisper and promises as I continue to drift out of my consciousness. I finally saw her face and it was no other than Taeyeon, carrying me back home.

I sighed as I remember the memory that I won't forget. I lost and gained a trust in one night. It was hectic and it kept on replaying in my dreams for weeks. I slept with either Sooyoung or Taeyeon until I finally recovered.

We were still sitting on the floor while I play with Cerberus. Sooyoung, Taeyeon, and my dad talked about what happened in the Queen's mansion and how Sooyoung and Taeyeon died.

"YIYUN!" I almost jumped from here I was sitting when I heard someone called me and it echoed throughout the room.

I saw Jackson walk his way to me with his glowing yellow eyes. Cerberus growled at him while standing above me. Dad stood up and went in front of us.

"Who's this?" Taeyeon asked while standing up.

"He's Jackson," I said. "You know, from dad's stories."

"So you're Jackson," Sooyoung said, narrowing her eyes.

"I AM THE LORD OF THE HELL!" Jackson shouted on top his lungs. He looked bad and not the bad boy kind of bad but he's in bad shape.

I looked at him weirdly and looked at the three who were glaring at him intensely.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Jackson charged before I can even react more. But the thing that was more surprising is that Sooyoung was already there, punched Jackson's abdomen with a blink of an eye. Her eyes were glowing bright purple as she held Jackson's arms behind him.

Taeyeon took her time to walk her way to Jackson. Taeyeon's eyes glowed as bright as Sooyoung's. There was steam following Taeyeon as she formed a fist with her hand and ice covered it.

"I. . . I am the lord," Jackson whimpers, trying to have a brave face when in fact I know that Sooyoung punched him hard.

As Taeyeon stopped in front of Jackson, Jackson tried to break free from Sooyoung. I watch my sisters' angry faces as they look at Jackson like a prey. I have no idea what they're planning so I just stood there.

Jackson was mumbling something when Taeyeon swings her fist to where Sooyoung hit Jackson. Her fist slowly went inside him like his abdomen melted. Jackson screamed in pain and Sooyoung tries her best not to let go of the hybrid. Taeyeon quickly removes her arm and steam covered Jackson's abdomen.

"What is that?" I asked, pointing at some kind of black gooey orb on Taeyeon's hand.

"It's the alchemist orb." Dad said.

"Well that was obvious,"

They ignored my statement and continued the conversation like I didn't even talk.

"Those ungrateful little-"

"Language, Soo." Taeyeon calmly said. The orb on Taeyeon's hand beat like it has its own life. Taeyeon got disgusted by it and smashed it with her palms.

"Wait." We all looked at dad as he looks at Taeyeon like a surprise quiz in school.

"How did you do that?" He looked desperate for a moment. It was also the first time I saw Taeyeon do that. Sooyoung on the other hand, acted like she's been through this.

I've been with Taeyeon since I can remember yet everything about her seems so mysterious. She told me that her ancestors are very important to the world before. Her family got mixed by the lycans, that's why her inner wolf comes out more than the other. The problem is, I don't what's her other "Inner".

"My blood got mixed with the Park witches," Taeyeon said. "To be more specific, I'm a werewolf and a witch at the same time."

It was the first time I heard such thing. I didn't even know the witches survived since the last one died from giving her life energy to my mom, the Vampire Queen.
