Chapter 15

Kiley... Christmas Eve..

"Merry Christmas Eve!" I yelled in Zach's ears as I woke him up. 

"Get lost!" He groaned. 

"Zachary Martins! Is that anyway to speak to your younger sister!" Mom defended me. 

"Hello to you too mom." Zach jumped out of bed. 

"Mommy!" I jumped into her arms with excitement.

"You're soon turning 20, yet you act like a 5 years old; when it comes to Christmas." Mom laughed. 

"What can I say? I just love it, the New York Snow, carollers, food, presents, family and LOVE." Say all of this reminded me of Liam. 

"Your thinking of Liam, aren't you?" Mom said. 

"How do you know everything?" We laughed. 

We walked into the kitchen, to find Chef, getting ready to leave to go to his family for the holiday. Its been great having Chef here, teaching me how to cook some of my favourite dishes. Plus this year, mom and I have decided we are going to cook Christmas dinner. 

I know! I know! I know! A full on recipe for disaster, but we have a back up plan. PIZZA. I know, brilliant right, we are going to keep little a dozen frozen pizzas in the freezer and cook them if we fail miserably. 

 Its been a few weeks, since I last spoke to Liam, Nikki and I are back to being BFFs, and its great having her back. Now, back to Liam; I'm that crazy ex-girlfriend that is obsessed with his every move, I need help!  I really do love him, but there is something telling me; that there's something wrong with Liam. 

Nikki said something about him, always being on the phone and he's constantly talking about how he ruined everything; Nikki said he's feeling even worse about what happened between us. 

"Why don't we invite the Courts around for Christmas Eve dinner?" Dad came into the kitchen. 

"Your joking right?" I say, eyes- wide open. 

"I was just talking to Court (Liam's Dad) and he said its just him, the wife and the twins. Why don't we invite them? It would be a nice thing." Dad smiled.

"You do remember I broke up with one of their children." I said sarcastically.

"Zach is still dating Nikki." Dad pointed out. 

"Yeah it would be great to have them around, and aren't you and Liam like cool with each other." Zach came into the kitchen as well.

"NO! YOU JACKASS! " I yelled. 

Why are they allowing me near the knives at this moment? Kiley remember its Christmas, and being nice to all is one of the greatest things of Christmas. 

"Fine! They can come." I gave a fake smile. Zach and Dad left me and mom in the kitchen. 

Is it stupid that; I brought Liam a Christmas present like a month ago and I haven't thrown it away; I've sort of kept it safe in my room.

I really do need help!

Later on that day...

"We have a colour scheme for the night, you have to wear and item of clothing that is gold." My mom came into the living-room and told us. 

"This family is delusional!" I let out. 

" Sweetheart, don't you think that is a bit over doing it with the whole Christmas being perfect thing." Dad said to mom.
