I sat playing with my knifes when steve came and sat by me "hey" he smiles at me I smile back "this is all kinda crazy huh" he observes "yeah"I nod agreeing "Gracie are you okay?" Steve asks I sigh "I'm good steve honestly it's just the past 2 months have been insane before your well were found I had just gotten over these nightmares real bad ones kept me up at night they reminded me that I've lost so much and with how I age I'm only gonna lose more"I smile lightly at steve who moves closer to me in the step i lean my head on his strong shoulder "you got me now you know you don't have to help everyone by yourself we are a team" steve says into my hair I smile lightly and stand "steve your one of my biggest concerns"I sigh he frowns "I'm terrified that your gonna realise just how much I've changed and not wanna be my best friend anymore I'm scared that at any moment I could lose you again but mostly I'm terrified that while I'm worrying about you and everyone else that maybe I'm losing myself"I stress to steve who stands and pulls me into a hug "you act like you have changed for the worst and have changed to near unrecognisable but I know you and I see you are stronger now and I can still see that good old Gracie who always cared to much for everyone but herself"steve smiles at me while I look up a him with teary eyes "remember we don't quit we are with each other till the end of the line" steve smiles at me and I nod "okay how about we go annoy Tony" I smirk steve smiles and says "yeah about him so like are you gonna force us to invite him round for thanks giving and Christmas holidays cause he's annoying"I laugh "he will grow on you" I pat steves chest as we walk off down the hall.

As we turn into the hall where Bruce and Tony's lab is we see Tony shock Bruce "Tony" I scold entering with Steve behind me "oh hey mom"he smirks. "Are you nuts?" I walk down the hall looking for steve when I get to a closed unit of the ship i frown walking forward more I hear whispers down the hall that's when someone grabs me covering my mouth from behind pulling me behind a wall I struggle to get free but the persons to strong "calm down Gracie it's me"Steve whispers into my hair letting me go "what the hell"I almost tell "shhhh you'll let them know we are here"Steve says "what are you doing"I whisper yell "you said you don't trust shield I trust you Gracie but I need proof before I point the finger I'm gonna find proof"he explains "so sneaking into a closed unit was your great idea"I scold he shrugs and I sigh "fine we will go with your plan cap"I roll my eyes.

I follows steves lead down a hall way that agents just came from we get to a locked door "it's locked"steve says "no shit"I scoff "i can pull it open keep watch"he says I nod looking out in hear steve struggling to push the door open finally it pops open he looks at me I look at him "go"I nod my head in the direction of the now open door.

We step inside the room stacked with boxes and crates Steve jumps up on one using the new level to swing himself up into the second floor i follow his lead swiftly swinging my body next to Steve. We move down the isle till we find a box without a lock on it I look up at Steve who has seen it to we step closer to it "are you sure about not trusting shield"Steve asks me once again "trust is earned and they haven't really done anything to earn my trust"I answer he nods opening the box. Inside lays a mask and a gun much like the ones me and Steve had seen before back in the 40s back at the hydra base in Austria "hydra weapons"I mutter me and Steve share a look one of confusion and anger. What the hell were shield thinking?
