Ch.4 – Awkward moment in the living room
Elsbeth had been up for at least half an hour. She drank a cup of apple juice and a little packet of four of peanut butter crackers. She was full with energy and talked for twenty-five minutes about her dream. Then she wanted to dress up a little and sing to songs that they liked. So they did. Thomas put on a long puffy pink scarf and enormous white bedazzle sunglasses and a long curly blond wig. Elsbeth put on a bump it and put her hair up. A light pink puffy scarf as well and huge pink designer sunglasses and some pink shiny lipgloss. Even Benjamin dressed up. He wore the same sunglasses like Elsbeth, a green puffy scarf with blush and lipgloss. Lydia was wearing a yellow puffy scarf and enormous orange sunglasses and had the stereo and were listening to, Only girl by Rihanna. They had brushes in their hand and were in a circle singing and dancing in the living room.
The living room walls had wood on them and so did the floor. With a black glass table that had on top a “60 inch” flat screen on top. A long leather coach on the side of the wall, and smaller ones and two king chairs. There was a brick fireplace and built in shelves there to. Pictures of horses, tigers, lions and zebras and exotic animals. There were also built in cabinets and a mini bar.
The music was loud and they were so distracted that they didn’t notice Lukas come downstairs until Lydia looked up and stopped dancing. Then everyone stopped and Thomas stepped on his scarf and almost fell but was caught by Lydia. Benjamin turned off the music and Elsbeth and him turn around to look at Lukas. He had a weird look on his face and spoke “Hey I’m going to my office in town to do some work. So yeah… Benjamin are you wearing makeup?” Benjamin then replied “Yes, yes I am. If you have a problem with that then I won’t hear about it. Comprende.” Then Thomas spoke as well “Alright but it was kind of rude for you to interrupt our dance party that you weren’t invited to. But don’t stay to long at the office.” Lukas walked to the door and said goodbye and left in his Mercedes. He saw a red mustang cobra in his drive way and knew immediately it was Miss Castio. She had a damn nice car. A jeep and a cobra. I wonder where she got the money.
