I stayed in bed all day my friend Dinah came over unexpectedly. "woah Mila, where did everything go?" I haven't exactly told her about my parents leaving yet. "what are you doing here?" I stood up from the couch. "I heard what happened with Colson, but it seems like there's more that I don't know." she's right, so I filled get in when someone invited themselves into my house. "what the hell are you doing here?" it was Colson. "this is him, damn. But I hate you so byeeee." Dinah said and pushed him out. But he kept hitting the door "Camila please! Let me explain!" he yelled through the door. I wanted to let him in but why should I? He cheated. He's trouble. "camila please!" he yelled once again. I knew I had to stay strong and ignore him. Dinah looked at me getting the feeling I was about to cave. "Let me handle this." she walked out.
I didn't know what was going on out there but then I heard a car start up then drive away. I felt relieved thinking it was Colson until he opened my door. Before I got a chance to explain anything he spoke "Camila, please hear me out. The guy who called me was drunk and dialed the wrong number, yes he is my friend but he meant to call someone else. Please, I would never cheat on you." I didn't know how to respond, I wanted him I really did but I wasn't gonna cave just like that. "Ok. You can leave now." I ended up saying. I seen all the hope he came in here with slowly disappear. I kinda felt bad, should I tho? Maybe he is telling the truth I thought. I sighed "fine, I believe you, but I don't know if I wanna continue this relationship." I said. "w-what? You believe me but you don't still want to be with me?" he spoke softly. "Colson I've been hurt before, I can't just give my heart away to anyone." I said raising my voice a bit. "so what I'm just anyone now? I thought we had something." his voice rose too. "well maybe it was fake or maybe we were just pretending because I don't feel anything for you anymore!" I said without even thinking. He looked as if I just hit him. "good to know you were just pretending." he said then turned around and left. My heart sank, I just ruined everything.
