After a few extra hours of simple, relaxing sleep, Arthur began to wake once more. He was surprised to find Oliver still in his arms, cuddled close and sleeping peacefully. The Brit allowed a soft smile to slip onto his face, deciding not to fight much of those confusing thoughts and feelings in that moment. He pressed a kiss to Oliver's forehead, watching the freckled male's nose scrunch slightly in response. It made Arthur laugh softly, before slowly moving away from Oliver, trying not to wake him. The other man only hummed and shifted to turn and curl into a tighter ball with the blanket.
Finding that Oliver was still too worn out to wake just yet (and feeling a sense of pride for being the reason of that), Arthur slipped off to his bathroom for a shower. He couldn't regret what they did. The relaxed feeling and affectionate warmth in his chest were too nice. He didn't even realize his faint smile lingered as he began turning on the water and waiting for it to warm.
Once stepping in moments later, Arthur sighed in content at the feeling of the hot water over his skin. He failed to notice the door open again, and the slight movement of his shower curtain. The blond tensed slightly at the feeling of thin arms slipping around his waist, but relaxed right after when he felt Oliver kiss his shoulder and nuzzle into his neck.
"Did I wake you?" Arthur asked, feeling his cheeks warm. He didn't mind it though, and could play it off as the heat of the water. He felt Oliver hum sleepily in acknowledgement before replying. "I heard the water..."
"Sorry about that." Arthur apologized, absentmindedly moving a hand back to rest on Oliver's hip. The other shook his head dismissively, hugging Arthur tighter and choosing to simply lean onto his back.
Neither brought up the events of the night prior. They didn't speak at all, really. Arthur washed the best he could with Oliver hugging him, until he had to persuade the other to let go so he could finish.
"Do you want me to wash your hair?" Arthur asked, mostly for an excuse to stay with the other longer. Oliver smiled shyly and gave a nod, moving closer again so Arthur could run the shampoo through his hair.
Arthur could tell Oliver was studying him, which made his blush begin to return. He focused on gently washing Oliver's hair, until one of the shorter male's hands carefully caught his wrist to get his attention.
"Arthur, I want a kiss." Oliver stated softly, a sheepish look in his eyes. The words made Arthur freeze, and the red tint of his blush deepened. He chuckled quietly, giving in to the pleading look and leaning to kiss the freckled man.
Oliver seemed to relax with the simple action, smiling shyly once Arthur pulled away after a moment. They were both blushing at that point, a feeling of mutual affection taking over them. Arthur couldn't pull his gaze away from Oliver's as he pushed back the foamy hair in order to rinse it, smiling to himself when Oliver's eyes closed.
After a few more minutes of just enjoying the warmth of the shower, Arthur had to will himself to get out. Oliver followed suit easily, making sure the water was off before turning around to a towel being tossed at his face.
"Dry off and get dressed. We're going out." Arthur demanded, deciding to take Oliver out for breakfast at a local pastry shop. Oliver blinked before smiling excitedly and giving a nod, beginning to attack his hair with the towel to dry it.

Half an hour drive later, Arthur parked in the main boulevard of the town and watched Oliver's eyes light up as he looked around. "Can I trust you not to be a sociopath?" Arthur teased, unbuckling and getting out of the vehicle. Oliver rolled his eyes but giggled. "Never a promise, but I think those tendencies died down a while ago." he assured the blond. Arthur chuckled and gestured for Oliver to join his side.
