My Mom called me downstairs. It was 6:30am. Today is my first day in high school. Class starts at 7:00. I go downstairs and ate my breakfast and got on the bus. About 15 minutes later I got to school. I ran to my class and got in. I was the second person there. Class apparently was going to start at 7:15 today. Atleast I have time to meet my teacher.
"Hello sir, my name is Tyler," I said.
"Hello Tyler you can call me Mr Owen, I will be your math teacher for the year," Mr Owen said.
I decided to sit down and take my stuff that I need out of my backpack. Then in 15 minutes class starts. Every seat was taken except for one right next to me. Then five minutes into class a kid with exotic blue hair comes into the class. The teacher makes him introduce himself. His name is josh. He took his seat right next to me.
"Hey can I borrow a pencil I forgot mine at home?" Josh asked.
"Sure," I replied.
All I could think about is his dark brown eyes. There were five minutes left in the class now.
"Thanks man, I forgot to ask what is your name?" Josh asked.
"My name is Tyler," I replied.
Then Mr Owens called Josh and I up to the front of the class. I was confused because we didn't do anything wrong.
"I do not appreciate you two talking in the middle of a lesson. You both have detention now," Mr Owens said.
"Okay," I said quietly.
Josh and I have three out of six classes and homeroom together. After school I am drawing a picture while in detention. Me Owens comes up to my desk and tries to take the pen I was using. The pen broke and ink spilled on my hands. He picked up my drawing and kept it. Josh started writing something on a piece of paper.
He handed me the paper and on it it said "Do you want to come to my house after detention?"
"Sure," I whispered.
Then after detention we went to his house. I ended up staying there until 10:00pm so I called my mom and asked if I could spend the night. She talked to Josh's Mom and eventually said that I could.
Then Josh and I got on his bed and started watching Netflix. I fell asleep before he did. In the morning I woke up and noticed that I was clinging on to Josh. He woke up and looked at me and smiled. We both laughed. Then we looked at the clock and it was 7:23. We were eight minutes late to class. We ran out the door and to the school. When we got to class they were in the middle of a talk.
"If anyone talks to anyone else in this class you will get detention. It will be a distraction to the person you are talking to and that could make it so they miss a lot of the class," Mr Owen said.
Josh and I walked to the back of the class and took our seats.
"If you do have detention I am the teacher who is in the room. If I catch you drawing anything or doing anything distracting like passing notes or talking I will give you another day of detention," Mr Owen said while looking at Josh and I.
"I caught two kids in detention yesterday messing around and drawing. This was the drawing that one of those people made," Mr Owen mentioned while holding up Tyler's picture.
I'm blushing so much. Josh looks over at me. I hate when people see my art. Especially when it's in front of a class of 32. I put my arms down to my sides.
"Hey Tyler are you okay?" Josh asked me.
"Yes I'm okay," I replied.
After school Josh and I went to my house and he slept over. In the morning it was only 6:15 when we woke up. We walked downstairs and ate breakfast. Then my brother Zack tripped Josh. Josh fell onto his face. I punched Zack in the stomach.
I helped josh up off of the floor. We went to school.
"Hey Josh do you want to come over today? I'm planning on practicing piano and I want your opinion," I asked.
"Can I bring my drums? I taught myself how to play and I love playing them," Josh responded.
"We should form a band," I said.
"Yeah but what would it be called?" Josh asked.
"I think it should be called twenty one pilots since we are doing the play, All My Sons, in drama class," I said.
"Great idea," Josh responded.
