Alpha Logan (#1 In The Alpha Series)

Lily:

After talking with my mate for a few hours, I decided that it was getting late and I needed to get back to check on Madison.

"So, Alpha-" I drawled out with a giggle and Logan just shook his head with a smile plastered on his face.

"I should be getting back to my sister. We had a fight and that's why I went for a run. I really need to check on her." I said and he nodded.

"I understand. Let me walk you back." So he did. The lights were off inside the house except for the faint glow of the burning candles in the dining and living room.

"Come in. I'll make you something to drink, but I have to check on Madison first." I say and he nods.

I walk into the living room and I saw the bathroom light on. I go and poke my head through the door only to see my fifteen year old baby sister completely under the water not moving. Small bubbles appeared on her skin. I screamed.

"Madison!" Logan was by my side within seconds and I ran into the bathroom pulling her out of the water. She was wearing a nightgown. I shook her head slightly and when she didn't respond, I started to really panic.

"Madison! Wake up, come on wake up!" I pleaded as I gently slapped her cheek. I heaved her out of the tub and onto the tiled floor. I started giving her CPR and checking for her pulse every time.

"Logan, call an ambulance!" I cried and I could tell that was breaking his heart but he called without any word.

"They'll be here soon, here, let me try." He says and all I can do is nod. She needs to live. I can't be responsible for her death too. No. That would destroy me.

After 30 seconds of Logan doing CPR Madison coughs and water comes out of her mouth.

"Madison! Oh my god!" I cried as I slide over to her head and hold it up to my chest. She was still in a haze as she wasn't reacting to me man-handling her.

"Thank god." I heard Logan mutter and I looked up at him.

"Thank you." I cried and he nodded. His shoulders slumping a bit.

"Why? Why did you save me? I want to go see mom and dad. I miss them." Madison mumbled and I shook my head.

"No Madison. You're only fifteen. You have yet to shift, to meet your mate, you're not ready to go see them." I cry into her wet hair. She just shakes her head.

"No-no I don't want a mate. I want Malcom but you and Alpha Billy don't like him. But I do. I l-love him." She says sleepily.

"No Madison. Alpha Billy and I don't like Malcom because he's a dick and only thinks with it. You need a smart man. Your mate will be smart and he will love you because the moon goddess made him for you and vice versa." I said as paramedics walk into my house. Madison is sleeping now, being loaded into the ambulance.

Logan and I take my car to the hospital. Thank god for my change of clothes or I'd be showing up in just Logans black tee.

Since Madison didn't have any other damage we didn't have to wait around as Logan and I go straight to her room.

"Thank you so much Logan. Seriously, I owe you so much." I mumble as we stand before my unconscious sister.

"You don't owe me anything, Lily. What kind of mate and Alpha would I be if I let her die right before me knowing I could've done something to prevent it?" He looks to me and tears well up in my eyes once more.

"Hey, hey, no crying. Seriously, it breaks me right in half." He mumbles kissing the top of my head.

"I'm sorry. Just saying, I wouldn't normally let a guy I've known for around four hours hold me like this, but since you're my mate I'll let it slide." I joke trying to make light of the very sad and depressing day. He chuckles.

"Good because I wouldn't want to go off killing every male that's ever held you. Besides your father of course." He mumbled and I stiffen at the thought of my dad. The dad that I killed.

"Lily? What's wrong?" Logan asks and I shake my head.

"Nothing. I'm-I'm just tired and overwhelmed by what's going on." I partially lie.

"Why don't you sleep? And I'll be here when you wake up." He reasons and I head over to the pull out couch and soon enough sleep claims me. Not before I feel Logan settle in beside me.

When I wake up it's because I hear Madison calling my name.

"About time you woke up." She mutters and I roll my eyes.

"Morning to you too." I grumble and she glares at me.

"Would you like to explain why there was a man I've never met before in here while you were off taking a freaking nap?" She snaps and I growl.

"Madison cut the shit! That man saved your life last night because of your stupidity. You would've just left me without even thinking about how that would've affected me." I said suddenly awake. Slightly annoyed with Logan for not being here like he promised and very pissed at Madison for her tone when she spoke about our mate, and how she's been bitching and it hasn't even been twelve hours since she tried to kill herself.

"Well I didn't want to be saved! I'm not stupid because I want to die and meet mom and dad again! The people you took away from me!" She yelled and I snapped. My eyes were changing, I could feel it. Luna is on the brink of surfacing.

"You don't think I know that Madison? They were my parents too! You aren't the only one who's lost them!" I growl.

"I know! But it's because of you that they're dead!" She snaps back and that's when we both stop staring each other down and look towards the source of my lovely mate who looks just as angered as I do.

"Enough! Madison your sister saved you last night and you aren't being all that kind to her. I don't know the story but I highly doubt it was Lily's fault." He says looking straight at my sister who's wide eyed.

It's because he used his Alpha voice. It's so powerful that it even works on humans-or non shifted wolves. When Madison turns sixteen she will shift for the first time and have her wolf. One that has been in her brain for sixteen years but has been unable to speak to her because in a way. . . without shifting you haven't had a wolf experience yet. Your wolf doesn't have a form.

"Who are you?" She asks and Logans stern face let a smirk appear.

"You're future brother-in-law."
