Logan:

I was unbelievably pissed when Madison said that about my mate.

'She's a little bitch and her disrespecting our mate and Luna will not be tolerated!' Elijah yelled.

'You don't think I already know that? She's still human – and until she shifts we can't really do anything about it.' I huffed and he growled.

'Please – she is close to shifting anyway. She should be harvesting some of her wolfs strength by now. She's not human, never was.' He grumbled and huffed. I'm just choosing to ignore him.

'Lily is trying to figure it out. She seemed pretty pissed last night so give her time Elijah! We need to give her time to open up to us.' I remind him and he blocks out our link. He is mad because he knows I'm right.

"Oh Logan! Glad I found you!" My mothers cheerful voice sounds through into my office.

"Yes mom?" I ask as her face relaxes.

"I need help, wanna test my cookies? I know that was always your favorite job when you were younger," Mom smiles and waves a snowman-shaped cookie in my face. I grin and take it from her. I take a bite and she watches my face carefully.

"Well? How does it taste Mr. Food critic?"

"Lovely mom, best Christmas cookies ever. When are Milo and Oliver coming with Magee and Zoe?" I ask and she laughs.

"Oh you know your brothers! Oliver is always late; and Milo – ever since he and Magee married they've also become more persistent about being late." She rolled her eyes.

"Oh the little brothers." I shake my head and sit down on my desk.

"You should invite Lily!" She cheers and I look up.

"Mom I don't think Lily is ready for something like that. She is kind of going through some stuff right now."
I drag out.

"Nonsense! It's Christmas! Well in two days... but come on. She's your mate it's the perfect time for the whole family to meet her!" She argues and I groan.

"Mom-" I drag out, "please she really needs to deal with her sister right now. You'll meet her soon. I promise."

"Fine! If I wasn't human then I'd totally kick your ass mister!" She said whilst pointing her finger in my face and leaving my office.

You see, my mother is human; whilst my father is a werewolf. My younger brother Milo and I are Werewolves and my other brother Oliver is human like my mother. But his girlfriend Zoe is a werewolf and he is her mate. Magee – Milo's mate is also a wolf like him.

I sit down in my chair after I finished my cookie and I started filing through paperwork. I'm so tired of stupid paperwork. Then there was a knock on my door.

"Who is it?" I call.

"Jon Bon Jovi! Open up!" My fathers deep voice sounded through the hardwood door.

"Go away I don't sign autographs!" He laughs and open the door.

"As if Bon Jovi will want your autograph. Pfft." He sits down in the chair across from me and looks at me.

"Can I help you father?"

"Have you gone through all the papers? Did you notice that your nemesis and his pack are coming for you?" He says nonchalantly. My eyes widen and I look up at him. His face was hard – jaw clenched and his stormy blue eyes boring into my hazel like brown ones.

"What?" I growl lowly.

"You heard me. Vincent Lubin is coming after you and your pack!" He stood up abruptly causing the chair he was sitting in to fall backwards. "And you aren't protecting your damn Luna!"

Lily:
I was sitting at my kitchen table drinking a Smirnoff Ice. Madison has been locked away in her bedroom all night and for the past few days. Good riddance I say.

One day I will have to face her and come to terms with her. Gain some footing on our relationship.

I sigh finishing off the bottle and stand up. I walk to her door and knock lightly.

"Madison? Can we talk?" I ask hoarsely.

"Go away." She murmured. I open her door and I see she has empty beer cans and marijuana sitting on her bedside table with a smushed can and lighter.

"Madison!" I yelled and she came out of her drunken – high state.

"What? I'm tired. Go away." She said and smashed her face into her pillow.

I walk over and hall her up by the back of her shirt.

"Ah!" She yelled rubbing her pink bloodshot eyes.

"You need serious help Madison! I've been thinking... mom and dads death is not on me. You cannot blame me anymore! You think I wanted them to get into that crash? You think I wanted to be left to raise my twelve year old sister?! Huh? I was only twenty when they died Madison! I had my own car, I could've drove home that night, it was dad who didn't want me to drive in the bad weather so he came to get me and mom tagged along! I could've died too Madison. You could have been left with no family – I would have been dead and mom and dad would be dead too. You'd be alone!"

"I've tried to hard to make to realize that I love you and I'd do anything for you! But you chose to hate me and blame me. But it's not my fault Madi, it's not." I cried setting her down and she seemed to sober up.

"I miss them too – they were my parents too." I cried into my knees as I held them close.

"I don't want you to hate me or blame me anymore." I sobbed and she threw her arms around me.

"I miss them too Lil! I miss them so damn much it hurts! Malcom made me not think about them so much when he was around. And when you said I couldn't see him anymore I snapped. I needed someone to blame and you were an easy target. I hated everyone and I'm so sorry." She cried with me.

And that's how Logan found us.
