"The best way to get things done is to simply begin."
~Unknown

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Ughhhhhh" I hit the alarm to turn it off, "I don't want to practice waking up early for school!" I yell so my brother can hear me on the other side of the wall.

"Stop complaining it's ten, you didn't even wake up early!" He yelled back like that would change my attitude. It might not be early for him but it sure as hell is early for me.

All I have are milk white high waist booty shorts and a black loose top that shows my belly button and falls off one shoulder. I had to get rid of all my clothes to start a fresh new year. Well more like the boys came over and threw out my clothes, along with Maria.

I went to my mirror in my bathroom and I looked like I just survived a tornado. My brown hair stuck out in all different directions and my hazel eyes were bright blue today. I worked my butt off all summer to get my narrow hips and my flat stomach, which also helped me gain muscle but not too much. I was pretty tall since I grew over the summer to be 5'6. I also spent a lot of time with my best friend Maria, which helped me gain a really nice tan.

I put on my white and black converse, seeing I only had black lace heels and these converse. This time my best friend, Maria, threw away my other shoes since they were old. I run downstairs and make pancakes for my brother and I. Just as I put the first batch on the pan, I notice two suitcases sitting on the ground.

I look around for their owner when I saw nude colored heels. I started following my way up to see pale skin and a flight stewardess outfit with short brown hair with furious blue eyes. She was smirking, knowing she wasn't supposed to be here. This is the women who destroyed Aiden and my life.

"Get out" I instantly recognize my mother, I don't normally get mad, but she brings the worst out of everybody. She just got out of jail after being caught beating my brother and I half to death.

I heard the sound of feet running down the wooden staircase; Aiden must have heard me yell. I'm sure the whole neighborhood did.

"Oh sweetie, it took me forever to find you. At least give me a hug," my mothers' voice is sarcastically sweet. "Don't worry things will go back to the way it used to be." I wince as I remember the last time she came home.

I look up to see my brother come down the stairs putting his shirt on. His dark brown hair was messy, like it always is. He was 5'10 and was the quarterback for our high school football team. Which also means he has the rep of being a god at school. "Get out," he growled once his green eyes meet our moms.

My mother smiled, "I'm leaving the country for a while, but I'll be back and trust me things will go back to the way things were. I just thought I should give you heads up," she smirked and grabbed the suitcases. We watched as she slammed the door shut behind her. My brother grabs two pancakes and stomps his way to his room. I follow him, only to find him pacing trying to call someone.

"Aiden, it's okay don't wor-," he gives me a death glare stopping me mid sentence. Aiden has serious anger issues and I tried not to step on his toes too much.

"Get out of my room!" His jaw went tense as he pushes me out and slams the door.

I go to my room to shower, brush my teeth and get my makeup on and hair done. My hair is curled with red lips and black mascara. It was common for him to yell at me, I guess you just get used to it.

I clean up the breakfast mess then pull out my phone to call Maria. When a hand covers the screen, I know who it is but I'm to scared that he's still pissed. My brother is the scariest person you will ever meet when he's mad. He would never hurt me with his fists, but he has no idea what he does to my mind.
