His eyes as blue as the sea.
Getting her lost in and out of reality.
Taking her between rivers, oceans, creeks and lakes.

Losing every bit of herself along the wake.

Past the creeks, rivers and lakes were oceans of blue.
His eyes like the tide, breaking farther and farther away from her.

The next thing she knew she was pushed into the ocean.

She opened her green eyes seeing a man in black towering 6 feet tall.
Wavering in the gradient of blue.

That was until she made eye contact

Then she started drowning.

Losing feeling slowly and painfully.
The water was as cold as ice but her skin as hot as fire.
She felt her organs slowly fade out along with her heart beat.

But for her getting lost into the rabbit hole of his eyes was meeting death over and over again until blackness nothing but dark light to see.

But for him it was easy.

Taking a Sunday stroll in a field of daisies to seeing sunny days to clear nights with full moons.

Then as if a snap of a finger. Back to reality they both went. Going to work, crossing the intersection, between the white lines they both went.
Then he smiled and waved.

What a fucking gentleman, isn't he?

His eyes went from ice pick sharp to complimenting your best friend on getting engaged soft.
Casually running his finger through his brown locks.

But you know what?

She smiled and waved back as if was there 5th date and he got her daisies, her favorite.

For two weeks this continued.

Don't look into his eyes, take it from me. The color blue will forever haunt you. From that bottle on the counter to the sky and hell even your acne cream.

One year later.

She hasn't seen him since.
The thing is she can't remember those eyes anymore.

Blue, brown, hazel who would know she wouldn't remember.

But take it from don't look into his eyes.

I have experience.

Don't look into his eyes.

You will soak in the blueness of it all.
