Axel hesitated out the door, not wanting to show up to work that next night. His palms where sweaty and he couldn't help but quiver. The thought of having another "moment" with the Thing terrified him. But he had to survive, just two more nights! According to the twenty minute phone call he received earlier in the day, the owner had been found. At the end of the week, he promised, he would get promoted.

He walked into the office, being weary just in case the Thing decided to show himself. He slowly slid into his seat, looking behind him every few seconds. The phone rang and Axel picked up the phone. "Hello?"

Axel began to talk to the man. He felt scared, but he wanted to say something. He couldn't keep it hidden, he had to learn more about the Thing. "Hey" said Axel, nervously. "You wouldn't happen to know anything about the Thing in the back room would you?"

"Yeah, but none of them are good things, Mr. Glover" replied the man. "If I tell you your going to get scared".

"No I won't!" Cried Axel.

The man sighed. "Alright..." He cleared his throat and began to speak. "We arn't sure what happened, but that marionette thing was suppose to be an attraction, until something happened. It's like Satin when on to posses the guy or something. He suddenly turned evil before we could even put him on stage, and now he has a grudge against the boss because of it. He was actually the reason the boss when missing. He kidnapped him, saying that it was his fault that he was neglected. To be honest, I want that thing gone. Boss says that if he tries to harm someone else, he's going to get rid of him".

"What do you mean get rid of?" He asked, nervously.

"What do you think we mean, Axel? We are going to kill him!" He replied, joyfully.

"Kill him?" He gasped. "You can't do that!"

"Yes we can!" Exclaimed the man "we have the right to! His life belongs to our business, if he does anything serious, we have full responsibility to take care of him. So if he ever hurts you, please bring it up with the boss and he'll get rid of him".

Axel's heart dropped into his stomach. Kill? They where going to kill him? As if he were some worthless slave with no life of his own? But then something else floated into his head. "Should I tell him about last night?" Yes? No? He couldn't decide. But upon his conscience, he decided to keep his mouth shut. For it may have gotten him fired too. The man gave Axel a warning. "Don't let him get near you, he could rip your arm right off with his sharp claws!" The man hung up the phone, leaving Axel all alone. He sighed, it was going to be a long night.

The animatronics soon found out of his presence, and came strait for his office. A few times he had to hide underneath the desk, but as soon as he got up, he would head strait for the curtains and close them. He wasn't going to allow the Thing to escape and attack him, like the man on the phone said he was capable of doing. But Axel couldn't help but notice giggling behind him, but when he would turn around, the source was gone. He thought it was odd, but he payed it no mind and continued on.

And in no time at all, the six AM chime went off. Axel smiled about to rise from his chair. He froze still when a pair of hands grabbed him from behind. He could hear the giggles of a female so it couldn't be the Thing. "Hello, Mr. Night guard!" She laughed, holding onto the side of his head. Axel began to feel a sharp pain in his head, the girl was doing something to him and he knew it. And after a minute of struggle, the room turned black.

"I finally got you!" She laughed.
