Ravi was tired of being in Friendzone.

He desperately needed to do something. He had enough of being called as Anjali's Best friend. Every single day he tried to tell her discreetly that how much he loves her but Anjali was in her own world where Ravi was nothing more than his Best friend.

But Ravi was adamant and tried a different way.

Ravi:- I'm sure I am going to pass.

Anjali:- No. You're going to fail because I know how much you hate maths and you don't even know a thing about it. You need to start studying hard.

Ravi:- Chill Anjali. I'll manage. I just need some motivation :P

Anjali:- Huh? What kind of motivation? *laughs*

Ravi:- If I pass this exam, will you go out on a date with me? *says in a playful tone*

Anjali:- (Not knowing that he was serious, she played along.) Sure,why not?

Ravi:- I’ll hold you to that :p

Ravi studied hard like it is a situation of life and death. He couldn't let this opportunity slip away and managed to pass the exam with average marks.

He immediately messaged Anjali.

Ravi:- Tomorrow. Zen cafe. Sharp 6:00 PM.

Anjali:- What? *confused*

Ravi:- I passed my exam. You owe me a date ;)

Anjali:- Wait. I thought it was just a joke. Were you serious?

Ravi:- Yes. Now be the ‘Woman of your words' and be there at 6.

And that's how he managed to get a date and completely swept off her feet. It was the first time when Anjali saw Ravi as more than his friend. And after that, there was no going back.
