Fantastic Beasts: In the Future?

Chapter 2- Dreams of the Future

     Newt turned pale as Tina grabbed his arm. Jacob looked from Newt to Queenie with a confused look on his face.

     "Who's Leta?" Tina asked. 

     "Well, she went to Hogwarts when I went there... But I never thought I'd see her again." Newt croaked. 

     A knock came at the door. Jacob walked over to the door, but Queenie was shaking her head and trying to make him see that Leta wasn't welcome there. 

     "What? Oh, Newt and this girl went to school together. They should talk to each other." Jacob said, as he swung the door open. 

     Leta LeStrange walked into the apartment and looked around. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back, and her serious, brown eyes glinted in the light.  

     "Tina! Queenie! I've heard so much about you! This is a nice place you have. So, have you seen Newt?" Leta asked. 

     "Um... You're Leta LeStrange?" Tina asked. 

     "Yeah. How did you know my name? Oh, did Newt tell you? I bet he did!" Leta said. 

     As Leta looked around the room, she realized that the man who was standing next to Tina was Newt. 

     "Newt... What are you doing? You don't like this girl, do you?" Leta asked. 

     "Actually, they're getting married." Jacob said. 

     "What!? You're getting married!? How could you!?" Leta screamed. 

     Newt sighed. Leta scowled. She took a few deep breathes, and tried to calm herself down. 

     "Fine. I was going to warn you of something, but I guess you'll be ok. I must go now." Leta said in a strangled voice. She walked out of the apartment and closed the door. 

     "What was that about?" Jacob asked. 

     "That was Leta LeStrange. She always had a crush on me. Also, she can dream of the future." Newt said. 

     "What!? That's a very rare talent. Was she born like that?" Tina asked. 

     "I think so." Newt said. 

     Queenie walked over to her sister. 

     "Teenie, she was thinking about her dream." Queenie said. 

     "Tell us what it was." Tina said. 

     "Well, she dreamed of someone breaking Grindelwald out of jail, and both of them went after us. Then... we had a battle in front of everyone. And, someone used a spell that hit all of us, and not just the two bad wizards." Queenie said softly. 

     "Well? Then what happened?" Jacob asked. 

     "The dream ended there." Queenie said. 

     "Ok. So Leta thinks that you don't know that information, when you really do. Does that mean we have the upper hand?" Tina asked Newt. 

     "I'm not sure. Leta didn't really talk about her dreams while we were in school." Newt said.

     Everyone became silent as they thought about what Leta might do. 

     ...

     As the sun went down that night, Leta LeStrange hid in an abandoned house. She knew what she was going to do. She was going to break Grindelwald out of jail.
