Dinner with my family was a nightmare. Scratch that it was worse.

On the last day of the month our entire family had to be there. No matter how much of an important meeting there was or what party you had to go to from 7'o' clock to 9'o' clock you had to be there.

Without fail.

No one had ever broken the rule so no one knew what exactly would be the repercussions because frankly everyone was too scared to find out.

Except for Livvie ofcourse.

If you asked me about 4 years back when I was 15 what I though of my elder cousin I wouldnt say much.

Afterall she was always the quite girl who followed all the rules and I was always termed as the 'rebellious' one. At the age of 15 I was proud of the title.

But that all changed one family dinner when Livvie decided to be late. And get her hair hair colored. And get some tattoos. Wait did I forget the piercings?

If people could die of shock my parents and my aunt and uncle were definitely heading down that road.

My brother and I on the other hand were laughing our heads off while Livvie's little sister Ashley looked absolutely mortified.

That day my title of being the 'rebellious one' was completely stolen and it was given to Livvie.

Livvie had simply cracked that day and showed up our family in a way no would even dare try.

She went through hell with her parents but she held her ground and after my brother died she became my role model.

So there I was wishing she was there to keep me company during another one of the shittiest family dinners ever.

But the worst part was that we had to actually try to make small talk. Right now the topic in discussion was who had the best month and what was their highlight.

It was sort of a game in our household. Competition was something that was given top priority.

"So thats how we managed that massive task." My aunt Rosalie competed grining.

I usually tuned off during her part because all she ever acheived was saving a disastourous party. Being a high profile party planner ofcourse thats all she ever said.

"Well." Ashley said in a snobby voice,"I went to a One Direction Concert recently and Harry Styles yes mom the Harry Styles asked for my number."

I rolled my eyes. I bet he asked every girl he saw their number. It had been 2 weeks since the cincert and I barely remember a thing.

I doubt they would either because lets face it fairytale lives like Ash had was one a million. And that was when you wanted to be the one in a million. I didnt even want to be in the million.

"Thats great honey." Her mother replied.

My parents and my aunt and uncle were different. While my parents strove for success in buisness, etc they like more luxurious lives and fame and fortune.

"Thats very good Ashley, Im sure he will give you a call soon." My mom says.

Im suprised the guys in one direction dont already know her. She has been to all of their concerts in Los Angeles and of course she got the best tickets.

I snicker to myself just thinking about how forgettable she is.

"Nylla, is just jealous because all she ever gets is those two loser friends of hers." Ashley replied.
