Kestrel PoV

I wake up to see the stuff that still piles over me. They don't seem to have found a way to take it apart. I hear people surrounding me. They don't notice I'm awake.

"You do know the way to get to me is through the vent on my left, right?" I laugh sadly. "You guys are being beaten by a little girl!" I chuckle at my own word. This is so funny!

My throat feels like it's cracking up. I don't know how long ago I had water, but I know it was a long, long time ago. The mumbling carries on. These Americans really are stupid! I try making a banging sound but I know that they won't hear it. But instinct is the sole lead of survival. I see a piece of metal and bang my hand on it. CLANG! That seems to work. The sound radiates around the room. They immediately freak out looking round,one of them meets my eyes. I glare at them. They jump back in fear. Definitely not shock.

"You guys are really dumb. Scaredy, scaredy big guys! I gave you a clear hint on how to get me out but you didn't listen. I guess I'll sit in here and rot!" I say, turning so that my back is facing them. I hold my head high as I cross my arms over my chest with as much dignity I could muster.

One of the doctors comes up to the nearest object by the wall. She moves it and I curl up. Bad move.

"Wrong." She looks at the walls around me. Her eyes latch onto the vent by my hip.

"Correct." I hear some commands being shouted out then some more mumbles.

"How is she so smart?"

"Not even our engineers can work that fast!"

"Thanks for the compliments but I'm really uncomfortable in here. Please get me out or I'll have to go the safety way." I smile, satisfied with my own work.

"She made a way to escape in case we couldn't get her out?"

"Wow all that in 3 minutes, she even managed to avoid the gas and last longer than most people would."

"We have to find out what she can do with her sister."

The pounding of feet told me that they were coming. I see the guards try and push someone out but suddenly they just drop. Turquoise light filled the room. Black hair comes out the light.

"Raven!" I shout in shock.

I pull down on a piece of metal and everything tumbles down, just brushing Ravens feet. I see several holes in the rubble of equipment, just like I planed. I see guards coming at us from both sides.

Please Raven follow me.

Ok, wait what?

Raven are we communicating? Flick your left hand if yes.

Raven flicks her hand. How is this working. Actually I don't care, it works and that's all I need to know.

Hold my hand.

I charge my power and transfer the energy to her. I see a purple light cloud around our hands. I focus on destroying both sets of guards. I feel the power in me. I can feel my body humming in response to the power. I imagine it going through the guards and I hear a crackle and then the whole corridor explodes. Instinctively, I grab Raven and shield her. I feel the rubble dig into my back and go through the white dress I was in. The one they put me in. I feel the anger power my will power I feel a liquid go down my back. Blackness is all I can see.

"I love you Raven."

"No Kess. Stay with me. I'm here for you."
