Hey guys. I hope you enjoyed the last shot. Here's part two to "don't be scared 'cause I'm your body type"
The next morning Lily wakes up feeling more determined than ever. She maybe takes a bit more time making sure her highlight can be seen from miles away and that her hair falls down her back just right. Maybe.
As expected, she's attacked by her father as soon as she steps foot in the kitchen. He grabs her by her shoulders and inspects her, looking at her makeup.
"It's the same as it is every day, dad." She says, brushing past him to the fruit on the counter.
"But there's a girl, yeah? Your dad said there was a fucking girl." Lily can practically hear the smirk.
"I really should've just called Niall. I know he can keep a secret." And Louis gives her a look.
"What kind of secrets?"
"Huh? I don't know what you're talking about." Lily replies as she pops a grape in her mouth.
"Tell me about her, please? I'm already upset you went to your father instead of me."
"Prettiest girl I've ever seen." She sighs.
"And?" Louis questions.
"And I know she's queer, and I think she's been clear she's into me." Louis claps.
"We'll that's great, innit?" Lily nods.
"I really want to get to know her. She's. Wow." Louis see's the smile on her face and he couldn't be happier. He loves seeing his children this way, and it doesn't matter who they choose to date. He can only hope that his babies are going to be treated right.
"Well you should probably get going, yeah? Don't wanna be late." Louis kisses Lily on the forehead and she hums, returning a kiss to her dad's cheek.
"We can chat when I come home, love you lots." And with that she's walking out the door. Lily is nervous the whole drive to school, fingers tapping against the steering wheel. She pulls into a parking spot and see's Max getting out of her own car. She takes a deep breath and makes her way over, hip checking Max to get her attention.
"Lily, hey." Max grins, swinging her bag on her shoulder.
"How are you?" Lily asks. Max shrugs and runs a hand through her curly hair.
"I'm good. A little sad that a certain girl didn't text me last night, though." Lily's cheeks burn.
"Yeah, about that. What lunch do you have?"
"A." Max responds. Thank God. Lily's plan can go into effect then.
"So I was thinking you and I could go off campus for lunch. I know this place." Lily suggests. Max bites at her bottom lip and Lily can't help but stare.
"I'd love to." She says, tucking a loose strand behind her hair.
"Okay. I'll meet you out here then?" Max nods and Lily decides to do something daring. She leans forward and presses a kiss to Max's cheek. Max's cheeks seem to color then too, and Lily is giddy the whole way to her class.
She finds it hard to focus as she waits for the lunch bell to ring. She spends the majority of her classes doodling in her notebook and daydreaming. Fortunately for her, none of her teachers call her out for it. When the bell rings she practically sprints outside, happy that Max is already out there waiting for her.
"Hey, love." Max greets her.
"Hi. Classes good?"
"They were fine. Was thinking a lot about you." She says. Lily looks over to her and Max's eyes are trained on Lily's face.
