I couldn't move. Amy must've saw my face because she put her hand on top of mine. I looked at her and she had tears in her eyes, knowing what I was going to do. I held her hand and spoke two words before jumping over the railing. I felt the air rushing towards me as I landed in the water. I saw the whalesquid ignoring me and was relived about that. Quickly, I swam towards the huge, metal Yunboro. I saw the green eyes were off and looked at the whalesquid holding Chamber. I touched the head and it opened, air bubbles floating out. I sat in the chair and closed the door. The water drained from the small circular place I was in. I felt the equipment, smiling at the familiar feeling.
"Chamber!" I shouted. Nothing happened. "Chamber, respond to me!!" Still, nothing happened. I clenched my teething and grabbed the communication terminal from my belt. I put it into the slot and waited. A few seconds later, the machine began to hum. Tears formed in my eyes as I realized how happy I was.
   Chamber was still working.
The data base inside him leaded and appeared in front of me. I started reading all of it and noticed he had gathered a little more data involving the whalesquid.
"Hello, Ensign," Chamber's electronic male voice said. "It's been 3036 hours since I last saw you."
"Chamber," I said, putting my hands on the chair arms. "Let's get out of here!" I thrust my arms forward and Chamber shot upwards, shaking the whalesquid off him. We shot up into the air and I sighed, feeling the same pleasure of being in the cockpit of Chamber. I flew around a few times before looking around for Gargantia. I spotted the ship not far away, lights turning on again. The whalesquid didn't come back, even though I took Chamber fought from them. I landed Chamber on the deck and looked at all the astonished faces. I opened the cockpit and climbed down Chamber's arm.
"The tin can is back!!" a tall, blond haired man said. He was wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and darker overalls. I looked at him and sighed slightly.
"His name is Chamber," I repeated for the hundredth time.
"Ledo!" Amy exclaimed, pushing her way passed the man. She ran over and jumped into my arms. She pressed her lips against mine for a second before looking me in the eyes. "YOU SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH!!!" she exclaimed. "WHAT WOULD'VE HAPPENED TO ME IF YOU DIED?!?!?!"
"I'm sorry," I said. She sighed and put her hands on her hips.
"Don't ever do anything like that again!" she scolded. A woman cam over, laughing a little. Her long red hair was in a ponytail and she wore a orange tank top, jean shorts and blue shoes.
"So you've finally found Chamber," she said. Amy looked at her.
"He's not going to go salvaging now, Bellow," Amy said. "No to you, too, Pinion. Ledo's going to spend time with me."
"You always get him," a girl a year younger than Amy said. She had two long, brown pigtails and wore a purple shirt and skirt with flip flops.
"Be quiet, Melty!" Amy shouted, blushing a little. Just then someone cleared their throat. We looked over and saw Captain Bridget standing behind Amy. Her long purple hair matched her beautiful purple eyes. Her oval shaped glasses matched her face perfectly. She wore a purple and dark pink shirt and skirt with gold buttons.
"Commander Bridget," Amy exclaimed.
"Ledo," she started, "why did you go after your Yunboro? You put all of us at a great risk of being attacked."
"I'm sorry, ma'am," I said. "Please forgive me." She sighed.
"You'll have to promise you'll never do it again," she said. "And say that we can us your Yunboro whenever we need to. Got it, Ledo?"
   "Yes," I said.
"Come on!" Amy said, grabbing my wrist and pulling me away from the crowd towards the starboard side of the ship. We climbed a staircase, down a hall and up another staircase. We finally stopped at a small door and Amy turned the metal handle. She walked inside and I followed.
"Hey sis!" a boy's voice called from behind a curtain. She pulled up to the side and we looked inside to see a small, brown haired boy wearing a green shirt and brown shorts on the bed diagonal from the door. A small table and two chairs were in the middle of the room and a bookcase next to the bed. There were a bunch of sail boats on the windowsill made from everyday tools.
"What's up, Bebel?" Amy asked.
"Did you get any new parts?" the boy asked.
"Yup," she nodded, taking a few tiny screws from her pocket. She handed them to him and he smiled.
"These are perfect!!" Bebel exclaimed, taking the nearest boat and flipping it over. I walked over and sat in the other chair. Bebel looked at me and smiled. "Have you found Chamber yet?"
"Yes," I answered. "Just now. Got him back from the pod of whalesquid." Bebel's eyes widened.
"Now?" he asked. "Like right now?!" I nodded and he gasped. "That's so great!! You can protect us from the whalesquid and from pirates! I'm forgetting to mention you can also get treasure from the ocean now!"
"Don't encourage him!" Amy exclaimed. "He's been doing it every day for six months straight! Ledo's going to need a break soon." Bebel smiled at his sister.
"I know," he said. Amy looked at at me.
"It's getting late," she said. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" I shook my head.
"I'll get something later," I said. I stood and walked out of Bebel's room. I went down the hall and opened the door. Amy then grabbed my arm. I turned to her and she looked at me.
"Tell me you love me again," she whispered. I looked at her pleading face and smiled softly at her.
"I love you, Amy," I said, walking out the door.
