We just landed back in my old pack's territory. Jordan had the bags and Dietrich was carrying Alice.
"Maman pourquoi ça sent différente de la maison?" (Mommy why does it smell different from home?)
"C'est à cause de la différence de terre ici, et l'odeur des loups de mon ancien paquet." (It's because of the different land here, and the smell of the wolves from my old pack.)
"Je pense que c'était une mauvaise idée de venir ici. Je me sens comme quelque chose de mauvais va se passer." (I think this was a bad idea coming here. I feel like something bad is going to happen.)
"Ne vous inquiétez pas oncle Dietrich, papa et je vais vous protéger quoi qu'il arrive. Je le promets." (Don't worry uncle Dietrich, daddy and I will protect you no matter what. I promise.) She nodded and I saw my dads car.
"Kenzie it that you?"
"Yes. This is Dietrich. My Husband Jordan/ mate and our daughter Alice." I pointed to each person.
"It is no nice to meet you all and welcome home Kenzie."
"Alice say hi to you grandparents."
"Bonjour..." I rolled my eyes. Everything was put in the car and we got in and drove to my childhood house. I feel terrible France is my home now this place no longer feels like ai am safe.
"Papa, maman? Quand aura mon premier poste?" (Daddy, mommy? When will have my first shift?)
"Lorsque vous mettez quinze." (When you turn fifteen.)
"Kenzie when we get home we need to get ready. Your brothers wedding is today... The Alpha will be there the the Luna." Funny he is still trying to find me yet he has a mate. I shifted and put my head on Jordan's shoulder breathing in his smell. It instantly calmed me down.
"Alight. Alice you are to stay close to daddy, Dietrich or me. Son't wander off right away."
"Ok...." She looked really nervous. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it reasuringly. She instantly relaxed.
*At the house an hour later.*
I was wearing a light pink dress, and I curled my hair. My makeup was done so it looked natural. I was ready to leave for the wedding. Alice was wearing a baby blue princess dress.
They said their vows and said "I Do
