THE GRID

So the last map says there is a solar power grid about 10 minutes east. And the stream is 15 west it'll be dark in about 30 minutes so I can only hit 1. I'll go check out the solar grid because we need power asap and Chris might be able to fix it.
10 minutes later
So the grids intact with extra wiring. (suddenly a gun is at his head) whoa man I didn't mean any harm in here in peace. Really what are you doing to my grid then. I thought it was abandoned I was gonna take it back to my camp. (the gun is removed from Jacks head) how about we make a deal? Sure, but first I need to know your name? Names Rick. Ok, what's the deal? Well before the world went to shit I worked with this stuff have plenty of it. Say you let me live with y'all I will provide all of my equipment and services. All y'all have to do is keep me healthy, sound good? Actually that sounds just about perfect anything else you can do? Uhm I have some experience in building more with wood but I can work with metal.
Back at camp
Okay everyone this is Rick, he's agreed to work for us if he's allowed to join the group. He had solar panels and plenty of them and I've heard he can make more is that correct. Yes it is. So we have power and now we can use electricity again. (Multiple applause) and now with power we can scout the warehouse figure out what was made there and get it powered up if it's any use then we will start building the walls around the sites we need manpower though and so far reports say not many people are in our area which is fine, less chance of attack. That's all we'll regroup tomorrow and figure out who goes where.

Tomorrow I am planning to get as far as the warehouse fortifications. I need ideas for new people for the story and a name for the dog it's a male and I'm not naming him dog meat. Anything else just message me. Thanks for reading
