The loud ear piercing screaming coming from my alarm clock woke me right up.
"Liz breakfast!" Dad yelled from down stairs.
"Ooooh pancakes!" I squeal, my dad just laughs.
After breakfast I return back to my room. I wash, brush my teeth, do my makeup and then finally decide on an outfit for my first day of school. 'I want something that shows off my style, but I want something to impress that's going to say 'hey I'm single' ' I think, winking at the end of the thought.
I finally decide on some dark blue skinny jeans, a grey oversized top, a red, white and blue flannel and my white converse. I just simply straighten my jet black hair and finish off with perfume. I head down stairs to see my dad waiting for me to take me to school.
I don't miss my old friends, well it's not like I had many anyway, but I'm starting in the middle of the autumn semester and I want to make some good friends here. I'm quite shy, I hate all the attention being on me unless I'm comfortable around you, yeah sometimes I have those days where I'm feeling extra confident and I can literally talk to anyone. But sadly, today's not that day.
"See you later kiddo."
"Bye dad" I reply, getting out of the car and smiling before following everyone else into the school. I feel like right now I'm blending in with everyone. Until...
"Oh my god, hi! You must be Liz the new girl? I'm Daisy, I can show you around if you'd like?" Some random girl squeals excitedly in my face, people are starting to acknowledge me.
"Uh, yeah I am. And yeah that'd be nice, I honestly don't know where I'm going."
"Let me see your schedule" she looks over all my lessons and her eyes light up. "Your in most of my last classes! come with me, we have Mr. Wood for first period, Art." She pulls me by the wrist into what I'm assuming is the Art room. The first bell rings and the teacher walks in.
"Everyone take your seats. I see we have a new student here with us today." He says gesturing towards me, he then motions for me to stand up.
"Uh, I'm Liz, I came from L.A." I manage to utter. God I hate this! Everyone is looking at me and I feel so uncomfortable.
"Thank you Liz, I'm Mr. Wood" he smiles at me before telling us what to do. Daisy and I just chat throughout the lesson and I must say, I think I've made a friend.

Schools finally over.
Wandering aimlessly through a deserted hallway, I divert my attention to the unopened text from dad. Not paying attention, I feel an impact on the entire right side of my body, leading to an instant pain on my ass.
"OW!" I scream, scrunching my face up.
"Oh, sorry my bad. Are you okay?" I hear a male voice say gently.
"Yeah, it was just unexpected" I laugh and look up to see the guy who bumped into me. Wait! Scrap that. The sexy ass bangable guy.
"I'm Ethan" he smiles.
"I'm Liz"
"Yeah I know." I raise an eyebrow kinda creeped out. "I mean like that your the new girl and that it's kind of all over the school right now" he laughs awkwardly.
"Oh right. Well uh, it was nice meeting you, uh Ethan, but I have to get going my dads here."
"Yeah sure, see you around" Ethan winks as he walks off in the opposite direction. Something about him bothers me, but I can't put my finger upon it. I feel like I know him.
"How was your day?" Dad questions with a slight scowl upon his face.
"It was okay, I made a few friends." Yeah right.
"Good, I'm glad you did."
Something is clearly troubling him, but I'm not sure I want to force an excuse.
Once we got home I started catching up on The Vampire Diaries, what can i say? I'm a sucker for anything to do with immortal beings.
Soon enough it was time to get some sleep, once again I repeated my night routine and hopped into bed.
Let's get some rest for tomorrow's shitty ass day.
