The Batman Love Story

chapter: 9 Awake

Batman's POV-

"Bruce!"
"Bruce!"

"What is it Clark!?

"ITS ALLY! SHE WAS HIT BY THE TSUNAMI. I NEED TO FIND HER! PLEASE I CAN'T LOSE HER! I CAN'T USE MY SUPER VISION. THERE'S TOO MUCH DEBRIS!"

"CLARK! CALM DOWN. I NEED YOU TO HELP ME SO I CAN HELP HER. OKAY?... I am on my way in the jet. Try and see if you can spot her from the water."

"Okay, but hurry!"

Ally was hit by the tsunami? How?! She was fine. I saw her with my own eyes. I was on way back to the site in the bat jet....I had just arrived when I saw Clark desperately searching the remains of the town. The tsunami had died down now. All that was left was a lake of water and the remains of the city.  I flew down towards the ground searching from a safe distance. 10 minutes passed with no luck. Then I saw it. A black figure laying on a building. It was Ally. I got out of the jet as quickly as possible. I commed Clark to go to the watchtower to prepare a medical room for Ally. He argued but gave in with reasoning. I ran towards Ally. She was in critical condition. She had a gash in her back that needed immediate medical attention. I sat her upright. She gasped and choked out water. She took a few long deep breaths. She was in shock. She whispered,

"Clark?"

"No its Batman. I am taking you to the watchtower. You need medical attention."

She looked up at me in deep pain and cried.

"Batman....it hurts."

Sorrow filled me. She did not deserve to suffer. I took her to the jet and put her down gently. She asked me a question that shocked me.

"You are Bruce Wayne aren't you? I'd recognize that jaw anywhere even 5 years later..."

"I didn't think you would."

"Is the little girl okay?"

"Clark told me she was."

"Good...that's all I wanted...that's all I wanted..."

She was drifting. We arrived at the watchtower. Ally was taken to the medic bay. Superman saw her before she entered the medic. She whispered something to him and he looked at me. After Ally was gone for  2 hours. We were allowed to visit her. Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, J'onn, Green Lantern, and I all entered her room. It was cramped but cozy too. Ally said,
"Sorry for what happened..."

Flash replied with, "Sorry!?! You saved that little girl's life! We should be sorry for not looking after you."

Wonderwoman- " I agree. We failed to see that little girl, and you paid the price. I apologize."

Hawkgirl-"I apologize as well."

Green Lantern-"Me too, I am sorry."

J'onn-"I am sorry."

Batman & Superman nodded.

"It's okay. Thanks for being here." -Ally

Everyone left and Ally was allowed to rest.
