Hayun POV
"My excuse?" I glanced up at the ceiling to avoid eye contact with Doyoung. I'm not the best liar.
I can't just tell him that I'm going to Taeyongs piano performance. Taeyong told me not to tell anyone. I don't know what to say to him.
Doyoung nods his head. "Yeah, what's your reason?" He repeats himself.
If I tell him... Taeyongs secret will be out. I need an excuse! I look around but no ideas! I looked out the window when I spot a family. I got it.
"I'm hanging out with my family." I lied. I'm not sure why that didn't come out sooner. "Well not really hanging out but my stepdad had a cold and needs me."
"What about Taeyong?" Doyoung asks. "That's his father."
I awkwardly chuckle. "You know Taeyong and his ways." I scratch the back of my neck.
"You're right," Doyoung said, sighing. "I guess you can be excused... but this the only time."
My eyes lit up and I hug him tight.
"Thanks!" I then released him and gave him a thumbs up. "Don't worry, I'll make it up!""Alright," Doyoung claps his hands. "I guess we should explain the rules and such." Doyoung sits down at a table and I followed.
After an hour of boring talking, it was time for fourth period. I think. Taeyong said he had all these honor classes but he forgot this other class that we have together.
As I leave my class someone touches my shoulder. I turn around to see Jaehyun. "Hey? What's up?" I ask him as it looked like he wanted to say something to me.
Jaehyun grabs my binder and began to walk beside me. "Can I walk you to your class?" He smiles.
I look back and noticed there wasn't anyone there. Then I point at myself. "Me? Why?"
Jaehyun looks at me and his smile fades away.
"You don't want me to?"I shrug my shoulders. "No, it's just a question." I simply say, I might sound like a bitch at times but it honestly just comes out.
Jaehyun stops walking.
"Ah... I really don't know how to answer that. I just wanted to walk you to class.""Oh, right, sorry," I shake my head. "I'm just making things complicated."
"Now that our lockers are by each other we can use each other's books." Jaehyun gave me a cheeky smile. "I look forward to that."
"Great," I pursed my lips. "Goodbye, books."
"I won't steal them!" Jaehyun laughs while bumping into me. "I just take my books home and forget to bring them sometimes."
I cover my mouth and chuckle. "Right." I place my hair behind me ear.
