Hayun POV

California, where the beach is and where you see many girls in bikinis with boys staring at them like disgusting animals that they are. My "brother" is one of those animals. He checks out girls left and right then proceeds to tell them some cheesy ass pick up line. So gross.

My thought collapsed when I get a tap on my shoulder. I looked up from my book to see only the bright sun. I really hate the beach.

"Hayun," The voice called my name. "Why don't you go cool off in the water?"

That's for sure Tom's voice.

"And risk getting eaten by sharks? No thanks." I flipped the page to my book.

"By the sand. It's not deep enough for them there." Tom chuckles before grabbing a soda from the cooler.

"So?" I shrug. "You never know, Tom."

"She can't swim Tom." Mom said, interrupting.

I look back at my mom who was laying on the sand.
"Mom!" I shout her name.

How dare she expose me like that?! Ugh!

"Really?" Tom chuckles into his hand. "You want some private swimming lessons? I'll go ask the manger."

"Thanks but no thanks."

"When she was a kid," Mom starts. "Her dog jumped into our old apartment pool and Hayun jumped in to save the dog. In reality, the dog new how to swim and Hayun ended up having to go to the hospital. We laughed afterwards, well me and her father." She laughed her ass off.

"Oh really?" Tom looked surprised. "Wow."

"And you just decided to tell this story without my consent?!" I shout at her, pretending to throw my book at her.

"It's funny, but sad too. Grow up Hayun." She says

Taeyong walks over with his hair all wet. "That does sounds funny, wish I was there." He said before reaching over to grab a water. "The look on your face would have been priceless." He laughs.

"Shut it," I then threw sand at his feet. "Dweeb."

"Dweeb?" Taeyong threw his head back and continued laughing. "You're getting soft, Hayun."

"Yeah," Mom turned her head and looked at us. "Not the best."

"Mom!"
